I've always looked for a TVD/TO royalty story and have found a few good ones but none are exactly the way I want them - so here's my version.

It was June, which meant the school year had just ended, meaning the royal children would be returning home from the prestigious private boarding school in Virginia, US, for the children of politicians and dignitaries. But first a party to celebrate the end of the term!

Despite their age difference Stefan and Klaus were the best of friends however, they may soon fall out over Stefan's feelings for Rebekah - they 'dated' when they were tweens and Klaus and Kol threatened to kill him then - Stefan knew that they really would kill him now. Klaus had drunkly told him so one night so Stefan threw himself into a fling with Katherine in an effort to get over the blonde princess.

Tatia was the only one of the young ones who was due to inherit the crown and was thus more sensible and worried about her public image to the point that she was an uptight bitch. This caused the others, particularly Katherine and Kol to find her annoying and boring.
