'It's been so long... Steven and Connie have moved on completely from beach city. Amethyst, Garnet, and I have drifted apart these last few years. Greg has recently passed away and the beach house is quiet now. Maybe I should move on too huh Rose?'

Pearl thought looking to the stars leaning against the rail outside. She let a calm sigh and glance over towards the little home world school in the distance. "I promised I would stay... But what else is there to stay for?" Pearl said pushing herself slowly off the rail.

Pearl walked into the house and looked over at the kitchen where She and the gang shared so many other memories. Pearl let a dull chuckle and noticed she was tearing up. "Now that's not right... I am fine with moving on." Pearl said calmly wiping her eyes and drying her tears.

Pearl walked over to the warp portal and stepped over it stopping to rub her feet in circles on it. She then walks to the door and opened it to her room. The water shifted to make stairs and allow Pearl to walk up to it with ease.

Pearl reach the top looking over at all the different types of swords, katanas, and short blades; She had collected over the last one in a half thousand years. "This was fun... But what now?" Pearl asked herself moving her hand against one of the common blades she uses.

The room shook in a violent rumble, knocking all the organization into chaos. "What the-?" Pearl exclaimed summoning her blades from her gem and running out the front of the beach house where the crash must have an accord.

'The ship was falling apart. I didn't have much time if I don't think fast. I will crash and possibly be shattered! I was barreling towards a planet that looked like it had water surrounding it. That is my only shot I have a 75% chance of hitting the water as planned.'

Pearl rushes outside swords drawn, ready for whatever is awaiting her. In front of the beach house lies a homeworld ship barely together; pieces of the ship scattered around the area, smoke pouring from the engine.

As Pearl takes a closer looking keeping her blades in position to block in case of an attack. She notices a gem in the torn ship that is cracked but not shattered. "She must have crash-landed... I am surprised she isn't shattered." Pearl muttered lowering her blades and allowing one to disappear to free up her hand.

Pearl cautiously picks up the cracked gem, make sure not to cause any more damage. She makes her other blade disappear to allow her to have more of a grip on the gem for extra security. Pearl slowly walks back to the beach house using her back to push open the door.

Pearl carefully puts the beautiful gem on a cushion and starts to look around for Rose's tears. "I am sure, I kept it somewhere," Pearl said looking around checking her gem storage. She pulls out a vile of clear pinkish water and pauses looking at it.

'"Pearl, I want you to have this. Only use it in a dire situation. This is my love for you."'

Pearl looked longingly into the vile and then glanced over the cracked gem. "Time to move on huh, Rose?" Pearl said with an empty chuckle.

Pearl slowly makes her way over to the gem. Reach her hand out and pouring just a few drops onto the cracks. Pearl watch as the gem's cracks slowly closes in on each other. Pearl cautiously watches the gem and lets out a breath she didn't know she was holding in.

The gem slowly rises into the air, showing the form it was going to take in a specter of light. The gem then takes a human-like form and slowly descends back down laying back across the cushions.

Pearl summons one of her swords just to be on the safe side. The gem starts to shift in their sleep. Pearl beings to lower her weapon in concern for the gem in front of her. The gem the shots up "Onyx!"

Pearl raises her sword startling the gem. "I haven't seen a gem like you before. What are you?" Pearl says sternly she was concern that this gem had come to start trouble.

The gem still visibly shaken by the nightmare look at Pearl with confusion before shaking their head and collecting their thoughts. "I am a Painite, You probably would have seen much of my kind because we serve the Emeralds." Painite answer calmly staring at the sword pointed at her gem.

Pearl relaxes her posture and lowers her weapon, before having it return to her storage. "Why did you crash?" Pearl asked in a demanding tone. The Painite looked down in a sad manner before answering. "I was on the run and didn't notice an asteroid barreling towards me. Before I could react it hit my back engine just above this planet." The Painite answered.

She then glanced up at Pearl, with questioning eyes. "What diamond controls this planet?" She asked looking into Pearl's eyes. Pearl sighed and showed her 'Steven's message to the universe.'

'After talking to Pearl, I was proven right. But so was the temptress, Emerald. The Diamonds are weak and if Onyx finds me they will have no chance against the Rebellion.'

"So, Why were you on the run?" Pearl asked me as we seat on the couch. I began to freak out. 'I can't tell her that I was trying to destroy homeworld and the diamonds! Think Revi...' I look at her and smile. "I didn't fit in, They always called me by my gem name and not the name I preferred," I told her a half-truth hoping it would fool her.

"Oh Really, And what name do you prefer?" Pearl asks me with a curious look on her face. "Revi," I answer and look away she was only the second person to even consider calling me by that. "Well Revi, It's a pleasure to meet you. You are welcome to stay here, I could use the company." Pearl says warmly causing me to feel safe and appreciated.
