I lay in bed, torn between wishing I hadn't told Marinette about my secret crush, and hoping she wasn't as dense as Adrien. I could feel my cheeks heating up the more I thought about her. I finally admitted it to myself. I thought. But now what do I do? What if she doesn't like me back? I rolled over, trying to clear my thoughts so I could sleep.
Before I knew it, it was morning and John what's his face was knocking on my door. "It's time to wake up Miss Chloe." I groaned and got up.
When I got to school, Marinette was already there. I watched her, talking with Alya. Hands flailing around as she acted out some crazy idea. I couldn't help but smile as she gestured this way then that way. After a second she turned around and our eyes met. I froze as she ran over. I glanced at Alya to see if Marinette had told her about mt crush, but she seems confused as to why Marinette would want to talk to me. I blinked as suddenly Marinette was standing right in front of me.
