I blink multiple times and stare at Marinette. "Chloé Bourgeois? As in the mayor's daughter? I didn't know she liked girls." Marinette nods and says, "You can't tell anyone, remember?" I nod and say, "I don't break my promises, no worry's princess." I stare off as I realized that this would probably mean they would start dating. I didn't realize I had been frowning until Marinette said, "Hey, you okay?" I blink and say, "of course, I just never would have thought Chloé would like a girl." Marinette watches me for a moment then says, "You speak as if you know her rather well." I blush and say, "uh well you know, she's the mayor's daughter, everyone knows her." Marinette studies me, which only makes me blush more, then finally says, "you have a crush on her, don't you? That's why you were sad when I told you we were going on a date and why you know her so well." I blink, surprised, and say, "I don't have a crush on Chloé, I have a crush on you." The moment the words leave my mouth my face flares hot and I turn away from Marinette, trying to hide my blush. Why did I say that? Oh Gosh she's going to hate me. What do I do?  While my thoughts were spinning around my head, Marinette stood behind me completely silent. After a second I froze remembering that Marinette was still standing behind me. I slowly turned around, face still red as a tomato. She was staring at me, blushing hard. "You l-like me?" She stuttered out. I nod, wondering if my face would catch on fire from all the heat. We stood there staring at each other, both blushing hard, for a couple minutes, until a sound from inside Marinette's room caught both of our attention. "Oh, someone's in my room" Marinette says, "I should go back down to see what they need." I nod and say, "We-el I'll see you later Princess." I jump off the balcony and head back to my bedroom window, thoughts all jumbled.
