ADDICTED ~ A RoshAn's Story

Part - 37

Roshni in her room at Junaid Manzil. She looked to the moon.

Roshni's POV

All this feels like a movie indeed. But I can't understand who wrote the book. I found the book inside the drawer of dad (Junaid) in which his family photographs were kept. The book/diary is written in third person which feels wierd and this doesn't look like a diary too. It looks more like a notebook. Huh, all this makes me so anxious.

Aman knocked the door and came in with soup. Roshni had fever since a day so Aman was taking extra care of her. It was the tenth day from the day Junaid was in hospital. Roshni had told Aman everything about the diary the previous day. All day was a shocker to Aman also but somehow he acted quite understandable because Roshni was going through a lot and she could not even complain. Her relationship with her mother was never so good, Only if he knew this from the beginning. He wondered how can a person can't hear a single word of a person she is not even close with. Just because she was her "mother"? She never acted like one.

Aman hugged Roshni from the back.

Aman - you've been through a lot lately. I am sorry for everything which went wrong between us but I guess now it's time to make things right when we have time

Roshni's eyes become wet. She could not longer keep her feelings to hear and hold him tight. They were sticking like gum.

Roshni - I don't know what you do to me but Mr. Aman Junaid Khan you are the most handsome person I ever met and whenever you touch me all my pain vanishes in thin air and adrenaline rush through my veins at bullet speed
Aman - so I guess I should keep on touching you
Roshni - why weren't you so funny and flirty after we got married you always acted like a ridiculous rude old man. I bet if you acted like this them I would have been head over heals for you at that time.
Aman - ah you.. You make me go speechless
Roshni - Well, you had a crush on me probably 10 years ago and I need to confess that I have a huge crush on you now, today. I can't believe you are my ideal man now🤣 when I married you I had such bad opinions on you that if at that time someone had told me one day you're going be my ideal person I would have beaten that person to pulp
Aman - I totally understand because at that time I also felt like in what mind I was during college days to have a crush on a bitch like you😂
Roshni- wait what did you just call me?
Aman - I mean I *used* to call you that a year ago when we married😂

Roshni hugs him tighter. Aman checks the temperature of Roshni by using a thermometer

Aman - tumhara fever bhot kam hochuka hai lekin abhi bhi thora sa hai medicine lelo
Roshni - I love you Aman

Aman couldn't help but blush at her words.

Aman - you're a angel to me my love

He moved forward and held her by her face and landed his lips on hers. It felt like now even the world could not separate them anymore. Things were cozy between them and they're now in tremendous love with each other. They kissed like their love was enough for both of their pains and they could always solve issues just by kissing. It was also like a promise that's made to make two of them understandable to each other's situations and problem. The distance they had for so many months catalysed they feelings and now they are two love bird not willing to separate all their life.

After a moment.

Roshni - I guess ab mera fever aur jaldi theek hojayega
Aman - you're right. Ab soup pilo
Roshni- tumne dinner kar liya?
Aman - ha wo mane sham ko khaya tha abhi bhook nahi

Roshni shares her soup with Aman even though he did not have an appetite.

Aman - so ab mai chalta hu kuch zarurat parhi to mujhe bulana
Roshni - (holds his hand to stop him go) mujhe tumhari zarurat hai. Please stay by my side

Aman (smiles) - thik hai mam ab ye to rakh kr ane do

Aman comes back and sees Roshni has changed to her night clothes. It was already bed time and Roshni wasn't willing to sleep alone and Aman was also not willing to leave her alone as she was sick.

Roshni spread her arms sitting in the bed and Aman smilingly came and held her.

Roshni - you're so cold
Aman - yes my dear, it's winter
Roshni - I am hot you're cool such a combination 😍
Aman- seriously Roshni, you and your theories😂

Aman fixed the blanket and they slept in each other's arms. Aman made sure to protect her from everything in the world. Amidst everything going on, they were happy with each other.

Next Morning

Finally after 10 days, on the 11th day Junaid wakes up. Parveen wasn't in that house. Roshni had a lot of questions to ask him but due to his ill health she kept postponing to ask till evening. When it was almost 7pm Aman forced Roshni to now ask her questions.
Although Junaid was a little fine now he wasn't talking that much with anyone.
Finally Roshni went to Junaid with that book/diary
After seeing that diary he understood everything at once
Junaid - so you read it, but there's a lot of questions you might have now
Roshni- yes but if you're not feeling well then..
Junaid - ye diary tumhare janne ke liye hi likhi gayi thi. Yaha tak ki this was just a rough note to the real document which was made so that you can know the information when the time comes by that document was unfortunately destroyed.
