Part - 40

1 Year Later

Roshni is 9 months pregnant. So many things have changed in one year. They live in their old house which Aman's grandparents gifted him (the house that they used to live when they got married.
Junaid was in Hospital because of his detoriating health. She get shivers whenever she thinks about the day, almost an year ago...

That morning Roshni went to visit Parveen's (Junaid family's) therapist. It was reveal that Parveen used to visit her before Junaid divorced her or before Roshni's father and brother died in an accident but after that she didn't visit.
She has a syndrome where one overthinks to a point that they start believing the things they imagine/overthink in their mind. These things might not be true but result of insecurity. She developed these disease over time and by the time she stopped visiting the therapist her mental illness was at it's worst

Parveen's main plan was to kill Roshni and her mother in that accident as she got to know everything Junaid did for her and the fact that he loved her so much. But they hit the wrong car and instead Roshni's father and brother died. This incident was thoroughly investigated by the police by Junaid destroyed all proofs because he knew about Parveen's mental illness. He knew that his life is on the way of shattering already. Then he decided to marry off Roshni with his son Aman so that he can have a close look on her and always take care of her.
Of course Junaid did not let Parveen's grave crime slide like that. He divorced her and kicked her out of his house.

Of course Parveen got more raged. It was liked all her imaginations were actually true. She started to make a plan and kill the people who in her opinion destroyed her life.

Roshni understood everything. She could not forget what Parveen did to her but also she can't deny the fact that she was ill. What junaid did was wrong instead of giving her proper treatment he kicked her. The insecurities arose on her due to the actions of Junaid only. She never got the love she expected from him. Junaid always cared more about others than his own wife. Indeed Parveen's life was messed up.

Aman followed Roshni to the hospital as he read the files in Roshni's laptop when she was in bathroom. He heard everything the therapist said. He felt ashamed. Not only did he treat Roshni so bad but also her parents were killed by his own mother.
He didn't know what to do and escaped that place in tears.

Only her way back home. She couldn't stop thinking about that. When she finally reached home she went to Junaid.

Roshni - you knew so much you knew everything but you never told anything to us.
Junaid - so tumko sab pata chal hi gaya
Ye zaruri tha lekin mujhme bolne ki himmat nahi thi
Roshni - kya humari zindagi ek mazak h apke liye? Ap humesha Parveen aunty ki kamiya dekhte gaye lekin ap khud jo kr rhe they wo galat tha
How do you think I can blame a mentally ill person for murder? Should not I blame the person who could not take care of her? Today, only because of you she has turned into a psycho.
Junaid - meri kya galti hai wo hamesha se wesi hi thi
Roshni - agar apne unhe ache se treat kiya hota to wo wesi nahi banti
Junaid - tum mujhe kyu blame kr rhi ho

Suddenly she gets a call from the police. Aman jumped off and fell in a river. A boatman saw that and he reported to police right away. Later on he was taken to the hospital.

Roshni's POV

What? Aman committed suicide? Kya usne mujhe follow kiya tha? No this can't happen. I can't let this happen. He can never blame himself for this.

Roshni rushed into the hospital in tears. The operation was going on. After a couple of hours. The doctor came.

Doctor - tension ki bat nhi khatra tal gaya hai. Agar koi jldi se notice nahi krta to bachne ki koi chance nahi thi.
Ab ap jake mil sakte h unse

Roshni goes inside

Aman opens his eyes and prevents eye contact with Roshni

Roshni - you followed me right? Ye sb kyu Aman? I never blame you for this? And now I can understand we are all victims of a situation. In spite of blaming others we should focus on ourselves to make us a better person. Hum sab ki galti h. Hum sabne life me galtiyan ki hai. Junaid uncle agar Parveen aunty ko ache se treat krte, unhe unke haq ka pyar dete to wo kabhi aisi nahi banti. Don't you think Aman starting today we should fix things?

All these words brought tears to Aman's eyes he hugged Roshni right away.

Parveen was sent to mental hospital and Junaid stayed at home treatment. When Junaid's health detoriated he was sent to the hospital. Aman's sister's went abroad and there was no one in that house so Roshni and Aman shifted to their own home.
They never signed those divorce papers. They decided to give their relationship a chance. The wanted to show each other a better or best version of themselves.

Aman comes with a cup of coffee and hugs Roshni from back. Their relationship was full of hardships but with time they became mature enough to not let other things take control over them. After all they needed each other. They were addicted to each other❤
