The Bell Test

"You think I should eat, Kura?" Naruto asked in thought

"By the time you get to the training grounds any food you eat will have already been digested. You'll be fine." Kurama replied

Naruto nodded "Guess I'll be eating then." He smiled, today was one of the two days of the week he could eat Ramen for breakfast.

He heard a sigh in his head "you could eat Ramen for 16 years and you still wouldn't get tired of it." The fox said

"Ramen is the food of the gods. You can never get tired of it." Naruto told him

Kurama shook his head but stayed quiet. Nobody could get his Ramen addiction out of him. Maybe it's genetic.

Of course, he wouldn't know. His previous seals didn't allow him to see outside of his hosts.

Although he could make a pretty good guess at who Naruto's mother was.

That wasn't the point, Naruto finished his Ramen and dashed out the door

He arrived at the training grounds at around 5:30 to see only Sasuke and Sakura.

"Where's Kakashi?" He asked, his tails flicked around curiously

"He hasn't shown up." Sakura said with a tired yawn

Naruto nodded "Sasuke," he continued when the Uchiha turned to him "spar with me until Kakashi gets here." He said

Sasuke smirked but got up nonetheless, he walked to the middle of the training grounds and got into the Uchiha's fighting style "You sure you want to get beat, Dobe?" He asked

"Shut up and fight me." Naruto replied

Naruto rested down on all fours with his tails flicking around menacingly "Sakura, could you proctor the match?" Naruto asked

Sakura nodded and came in between them "Start!" She hollered jumping backwards

The battle commenced and Naruto leaped at Sasuke, he wasn't going to wait for him to make the first move.

Naruto threw a punch at Sasuke's chest which he blocked with his forearm as he countered turning his body and elbowing Naruto in the chest with the arm he blocked with.

As Sasuke hit Naruto two of Naruto's tails went to jab at Sasuke's chest and shoulder respectively, Sasuke's shoulder was hit but he jumped backwards just before the other hit his chest.

Naruto continued his assault, running towards Sasuke on all fours, tails aiming to strike multiple points

Sasuke's eyes widened when Naruto suddenly stepped to the left and got out Kunai from his pouch, one in each of his tails and three in both his hands.

Naruto threw all the kunai with deadly accuracy, Sasuke brung out his own kunai and deflected the majority, one nicked his shoulder and another his leg.

The battle continued for 2 and a half hours, at this point Sasuke was at a disadvantage.

The Uchiha's Style is built for powerful hits to end a fight quickly, while to Fox Style is built to be able to adjust to longer fights.

Naruto swiped his tail at Sasuke's side when he saw the opening in the panting Sasuke's form. That was the end of the battle, Sasuke fell backwards onto the grass and didn't get back up, he was panting heavily while Naruto was only slightly winded

"How the hell are you still standing?" Sakura asked, amazed at Naruto's dexterity

"I'm a stamina freak." Naruto said simply with a shrug
