It's been weeks since Team 7's debut.
Naruto, for one, was tired of D-Ranks. He did more work than the others with his tails, plus, he was always told he was doing it wrong, even if he was copying Sasuke's exact movements
His team was currently in a wild goose chase for Tora.
Why is it a wild goose chase? Naruto already has Tora, he has for the last hour.
Really, Tora runs away because he wants space from the Daimyo's wife, so Naruto gave him that space before taking him back to the Daimyo's wife.
Currently, Tora was taking a nap in a nest made from three of Naruto's tails.
"Has anyone found the target?" Came Kakashi's voice from his earpiece
"No, I can't find it" came Sakura's
A negative grunt came from another voice
"Sakura, it's a she not an it." Naruto said into the earpiece.
"And how would you know?" Sakura asked
"I've had her for the last hour." Naruto replied plainly, taking the earpiece of. He knew what was to come.
Even with the earpiece off he heard a rather loud "WHAT!?" From the earpiece
Sakura, Sasuke, and Kakashi appeared in front of Naruto
Naruto smiled "Hey" he brought up his hand
"Don't hey us! You've had that damn cat for the last hour and didn't say anything!?" Sakura screeched
A fourth tail came to the nest, completely covering Tora within a small ball, she was somehow still asleep.
"Yup, that sounds about right." Naruto said
Sakura growled and stepped up to hit Naruto atop his head, a tail wrapped around her wrist when she threw her fist.
"I'd appreciate if you didn't do that." Naruto said, letting go of Sakura
"Well, anyhow, we completed the mission, let's get Tora back to the Hokage's office" Kakashi said.
Sakura had an angered expression
Sasuke was grimacing
The team jumped across rooftops to get to the Hokage Tower.
When they got to the Hokage Tower the secretary glared at Naruto with no care for what happens, she believes if the demon attacks her, the copy ninja would stop it.
"I would appreciate if you stopped glaring at my student." Kakashi told the secretary with an eye smile
"Is Jiji available?" Naruto asked with Tora snuggling into his arms
"Yes, he'll see you now." The secretary said
Team 7 walked up the stairs of the tower, Naruto knocked on the door.
When he heard a muffled "Enter" Naruto opened the door and walk in, the rest of team 7 behind him
"Capture Tora mission complete." Kakashi said with his nose in his book
Madam Shinji, the daimyo's wife, snatched Tora from Naruto's arms, glaring at him for a moment before turning all of her attention to Tora, squeezing the life out of her.
"Poor cat.." Naruto muttered
"Team 7, what would you wish for your next D-Rank? You could babysi-" Hiruzen was cut off
Naruto sat down and stabbed 2 tails into the roof of the room, 4 into the walls, and 3 into the floor
"I'm not moving from this spot until you give us a C-Rank mission." He said, crossing his arms
