They are the peacemaker, the in-between who makes compromises that works for everyone. That is the reason they work best as the host.

A loud explosion was heard and multiple feet were running through the cave. A woke up instantly and noticed his body shaking violently, how much sweat littered his body, the tears running down his face, and his horse voice. 'Must have been another nightmare.' M said. 'Look! We must be rescued today! That never happens!' L exclaimed and A sighed in relief. A simply couldn't calm down though and M seemed to notice. 'I'm male' Makemi said, 'he/they works.'
'I'm just female she/her' Lakira reported. 'A-And I'm... I'm..' A looked down in though before shrugging, 'I don't want to be any different than yesterday. He/him.' Akemi said and ran his fingers into the soft ball of fur he calls a tail. It was the softest thing Akemi has ever touched, and it always seemed to make him smile at the thought of being Kurama's kin. Kurama always was so protective and caring to those he loved and hostile and weary of those he didn't. It was in his nature but, that was what made them feel safe and comforted. Maybe Kurama didn't love them, but he would protect his own kin right? Foxes were his kin right? 'Don't doubt yourself! When we meet Naruto we can meet the ball of fur too and we will be able to go into his cage and find comfort in those large tails. Just imagine having multiple tails instead of just one!' Lakira said and wrapped an arm around Akemi and Makemi. 'Your so positive, maa, I'm jelous.' Akemi whined. 'Don't worry in time you might be as awesome as us!' Makemi said with a foxish grin. 'sure like I'm the same level as you dobe.' Lakira mumbled. 'Right sorry, your below me and Akemi!' Makemi said laughing while Lakira stomped his foot in childish anger. Some things never change. 'Pla-ese, you guys can't even reach my level!' Akemi said and seemed to look down apon the two, 'I'm above you guys and you know it.'
'At least someone has some confidence.' Makemi mumbled glancing at Lakira who was shocked and then whimpered. 'You know I can't control that Makemi.' Lakira whispered in a soft voice that had Makemi curse. 'Shit sorry I didn't mean it. I know It's hard to just love yourself.' Makemi apologized softly.
'Yeah, as far as I'm concerned we still have some depression. So a lot of our so called confidence, are made up.' Akemi reminded the two.
'Like Naruto.' Makemi instantly said and Lakira nodded, 'Naruto has a lot of fake confidence.' Akemi whined loudly, 'Don't remind me,'
After a few minutes a man with a masked face came to the cell.
"Hey, come here I'm not gunna hurt you." The man coaxed softly, opening the gate, "I promise I'm not gunna hurt you."
"W-who are you." Akemi whimpered sitting up.
"I'm an Anbu of Konoha. I'm hound." The man with the dog-mask said and Akemi recognized the name and the mask as Anbu Kakashi.
"Promise? T-they hurt me I nu like bein' hurt." Akemi whimpered.
Kakashi nodded, "Yeah, I won't let anyone hurt you." He promised.
Akemi nodded and ran into his arms. Kakshi had no trouble catching the boy, instantly noting how small and light the boy was, it was unhealhty.
Kakashi shimmered away outside of the cave, "I found the boy in a cave. Must have been held captive. We will take him back to Konoha, no one is to hurt him." Kakashi stated and the two anbu currently outside nodded. After a few minutes two more Anbu came out, "He slipped away."
"Hiba-san?" Akemi asked and they looked over to the boy, "Hibe-san left?"
"Yes, yes he did." Another anbu said.
"Right, I will bring the boy to Konoha, he needs medical attention. You know what to do." Hound-sama ordered and started to run out of the forest before Akemi shreieked in pain and clawed at Hound-sama. Surprised he let go and Akemi started to fell howling in pain. Another Anbu was quick to rush over and catch him.
Akemi raced back to the bace, and after a minute he called down and fell forwards.
"What happened?" An anbu asked slowly walking up to the wounded boy.
"I don't know suddenly started screaming in pain before he clawed me." Hound-sama said with a frown.

Akemi weakly sat up with the help of an Anbu and pointed at the shoulder of his arm. "C-cant go far from master or else. M-master must have modified it to where I can't leave p-perrimamure." The boy weakly explained and Hound-sama frowned at the seal.

"I think it shocked him, what is your name?" Another anbu asked with a fox mask.
"Akuma is my nickname." Akemi explained not wanting to go into detail about things, too exhausted to do so.

"Bear huh, weird nickname for a fox." Hound-sama mumbled and grabbed Akemi's fingers that started to bleed again. He unwrapped the bandages and winced slightly at the sight of, or lack of, nails. He wrapped them in a new bandage before doing the same to his toe-nails.
"M-my family gave me the name b-before i-it happened." Akemi explained and with a shaking hand traced the mask of the fox masked anbu. "I've always loved foxes... reminds me of Naruto.. I miss... Ni-san.."
Akemi fell asleep in the Anbu caption's arms.
"I believe we have found a former resident of Konoha and looks like Naruto knows him or at the very least, he knows Naruto." Hound-sama said and looked at the seal again. "This seal is going to take some time. Please tend to his wounds as I work on the seal. The rest of you check for other survivors."
Hound-sama crused at Orochimaru, how far was he willing to go for his experiments. And he was certain any experiment didn't need all of someone's tonails and fingers. Not to mention all the cuts around the boy's body. Was this really just experiments or was he also using it to fill his sadistic nasty pleasures? Truthfully, Hound-sama didn't want to find out.
