THEA'S POV
"What did you do to her, you fucking asshole?" I heard hushed whispers at a distance. Trying to pry my eyes open, I was met with a bright light. I groaned at the extreme intrusion and covered my eyes.
"Oh my god, Thea you are awake. Thank god. I thought this man killed you or something. How are you feeling? Are you hurt? Do you feel any pain? Did Rouge hurt you?" Someone that sounded a lot like Lila questioned.
Slowly adjusting to the bright light, I pried my eyes open and was met with the sight of Lila.
"Lila" I whispered, my throat burned with dryness. "Water, please" I begged. Lila roamed around the room looking for water and that's when my eyes landed on Xander. He was looking at me. More like staring, but let's not get into the technicalities. Lila rushed to my side, after finding a glass of water and gave it to me. As soon as the water washed over my throat, I felt myself moan in relief. It felt heavenly.
Suddenly a growl echoed in the room and I looked up to see Xander with a funny expression. What did I do? Weird. After a few seconds, I looked at Lila and tears started rolling down my eyes. Seeing her safe and in front of me, I could finally feel secure. I know I am not the brave kind. I have the bravery of a chicken. If Lila was here, that means I am going home.
"Lila, are you okay? What is going on? Can we go back now? Please. I don't wanna be here" I sobbed.
"Hey, Hey, Hey... look at me. Nothing is going to happen to you. I promise. Please don't cry" Lila said, sadness clearly visible in her voice.
"Don't make promises you can't keep" Xander taunted. God I hated him. I wanted to scratch that perfect face oh his, and poke his beautiful eyes.
