ROUGE

MISTAKE

XANDER'S POV (NIGHT BEFORE THEA WAS KIDNAPPED)

"Boss, Martinez was arrested today morning. Charged for murder and selling drugs. The police know he is a part of Rouge"

Damien spoke. Damien is my most trusted man. He was the first person that I spoke to about establishing a Mafia. Pedrova, the mafia in power is pathetic. Cowards. They use women, children, drugs and the worst of things to prove their power. 

Damien's younger sister was a victim of their women trafficking network. When I told him about establishing Rouge, the man did not even hesitate to say yes. He wanted revenge and I promised him that.

"Was he involved?" I asked.

"No boss. Martinez was not a traitor. Has a family boss, he wouldn't dare cross us like that and put the Rouge at risk"

"Then tell the detective he has the wrong man and get him out" I growled, annoyed as to why Damien couldn't handle it himself

"Boss, it's a woman and she refuses to conduct any further investigation. Something about Martinez's DNA found on the victim's body. It's a setup Boss."

"Эти ублюдки знают, что мы так близки к захвату власти. Они пытаются обвинить нас в лекарствах, которые они производят" (Those fuckers know we are this close to taking over. They are trying to frame us for the drugs they are making). I growled. This will not be a big problem if we handle it right. We just had to play the right cards

"Damien, get the detective to the basement. She and I need to have a talk" I smirked. The world was finally gonna know what happens when they mess with the Rouge

TIME SKIP (WHEN THEA GETS KIDNAPPED)

"We have her roommate in the basement. Thea Gracias, works as a waitress in the bakery shop on the main circle. The detective escaped and the guys didn't know if she was gonna be a threat or not so they got her here. Looking at the girl, I doubt she is gonna be much of a threat. She barely looks over 18. I was surprised to know she is actually 22" Damien chuckled at the end.

"Get her into my office now" I ordered. I wanted to get this problem over with as soon as possible

"That is not going to happen, boss. She had passed out in the apartment.  The guys said her head smashed somewhere"

"БЛЯДЬ (fuck), get her when she wakes up. Make sure she doesn't die. I do not want this problem to stay on any longer"

God this is getting on my nerves now. The longer this thing stretches, the worst is going to happen. It took us eight years to build Rouge. Fighting the underground system, forming connections, finding people, the money; all of it will be for nothing if Martinez doesn't get free soon.

Rouge doesn't do drug dealings. Neither do we involve ourselves with women or children trafficking. These were the hard limits of the gang and this is why people joined Rouge. No one likes cowards who hide behind the helpless. It's disgusting and pathetic. The Pedrova's  are everything that we hate. If people get to know that we involve ourselves with drugs that are killing hundreds of people, the entire empire is gonna come crashing down.

TIME SKIP (WHEN THEA ENTERS XANDER'S OFFICE)

I heard a knock on my door. Knowing that it was gonna be Damien with the girl, I shut my laptop and spoke

"Come in"

A few seconds later the door opens and the girl is pushed inside the room.

"Look up," I said. I needed to get this over with today. I had a lot on my plate, and I wasn't gonna cancel it for a tiny little girl. When she didn't move, Damien tugged her arm and a whimper escaped her throat.
