Werewolves

In the depth of the forest where the trees seem to encroach hides a pack of wolves. The cubs huddled together taking a nap. The males went hunting with the pack leader while the feminine wolves gracefully paced back and forwards, ready to attack any trespassers. Once the males were back, they shifted back into humans. Tales of wolf people are often passed down by mortals but are they always the threatening creatures we thought they were?

In Ivy Theroux's Supernatural Encyclopedia, we get to read about these mystical creatures.. with a twist.

Physical appearance:
Wolf people or werewolves can be easily recognized by their icy blue eyes. As they are understandably related to wolves, they are also related to Huskies. And huskies often have piercing blue eyes so werewolves will eventually inherit them. Another noticeable physical trait of werewolves are their tanned skin. Werewolves are out-door beings and often spend time in the sun so their skin tone is often a warmer and sun-kissed shade. Another way to recognize a werewolf is by their toned body. Werewolves have incredible strength and are amazingly toned. Lastly is their body heat. They often have higher body heat than other mythical creatures in the supernatural world. But remember, not every person with these traits are werewolves but almost all werewolves inherit these traits.

Characteristics:
Wolf people are loyal beings. They live in packs just like their wolf ancestors. They value friendship more than anything else. Wolves can be out-going and optimistic too. But they are short tempered and often dramatic. Even so, they are softies by heart and wouldn't want to go around hurting others for fun.

Others:
A wolf's diet normally consists of red meat. They dont eat human meat nor vegetables. Although the "Gen Z" wolves seem to start picking up eating vegetables, the older wolves in the pack rather stick to their natural diet.
Wolves dont get turned under a full moon, in fact, a full moon only boosts their strength. They could get turned when they want to but will normally get turned when they are provoked or feel unsafe.
A werewolves howl is very loud. There are two main types of howls. One is a deep howl for when they want to express sadness or grief. The second is a warning howl. They normally use this howl to inform other wolves in their pack that danger is lurking right around the corner and every wolf should be alert.
Wolves and Vampires have always had bad blood. Vampires see wolves as the reckless youngsters that lack sensibility while wolves think of vampires as the cocky and selfish beings. But then again, they "Gen Z" vampires and wolves are more open minded and maybe will try to ease the tension between these two groups.
