Lilo: Yeah. The others have two parents in their pictures. I only have Nani, and the picture would look weird.
Sonic: Mrs Mertle's Mom is a single mom.
Lilo: If I had a nice capable family photo with a man and a woman, then I'd be as normal as Mertle is.

Lilo: That's 5 family members and 6 1/2 friends.
Nani: That's what our Ohana is. What do you expect me to do about it?
Amy: Maybe we should ask David to be in the photo. Though David isn't a part of their family.
Lilo: That's exactly the problem. If only Nani was married like normal people.
