Evangeline Parker, or Evie, as she likes to be called; has had enough. She's had enough of the Scooby gang. She's had enough of her family treating her as another outcast just because she's the first triplet, they didn't treat Luke and Liv like that, only her. And they wondered why Kai became the way he was. And on top of that she hates Liv looking down on her because, one; she's more powerful than her, and two; she's the mate to an Original, The Wild One to be exact or otherwise known as Kol Mikaelson. Like she could help that.
She just wanted away from all of that. Away from her family. Away from the Scooby gang and away from Kol's family who underrate him. "You're thinking too hard, darling." A voice said, startling her out of her thoughts as the owner of the voice pressed a kiss to her bare shoulder. Sighing, Evie turned over in the large bed to face her mate, Kol Mikaelson. They had been dating for a few months now and things were going really well despite everything going on around them and people wishing to split them up.
"I'm sorry." Evie apologised, pressing a kiss to his lips. "I just want to be away from all of them. Just the two of us, where we can't be bothered and hopefully find a way to restore Kai's sanity. I hated locking him back up again." Evie said sadly, tears building in her bright sapphire eyes. "Shhh." Kol soothed, wiping away her tears. "I know darling, but he asked you to as he didn't want to hurt you. You are the only thing he loves, the only thing I love and I agree with him, he did this for you as a big brother. I promise you though, darling, we'll be away from here soon, and then we can start trying to find a way to help him. I've never let you down before and I don't intend to start now." Kol swore seriously. "I know thank you, babe." Evie sighed snuggling up to him, making him smile and kiss her head. "In fact, I have a surprise for you. Wait here."
He kissed her lips before zipping out of bed throwing on a dressing gown over his boxers before he took off for the kitchen. He quickly made them some pancakes and added some mango, banana and blueberry into a small bowl as he knew she liked to have fruit with her breakfast, placed a black coffee for himself, a honey-tea for Evie, and a bottle of syrup on the tray, and finally a large envelope holding her surprise. Walking back up to their room he smiled as he entered the bedroom. This woman could always put a smile on his face no matter how he felt. He placed the tray carefully on her lap and kissed her passionately before pulling away softly and taking a seat beside her. "Open it." He said eagerly. Evie looked at him confused before she opened the large envelope revealing a brand new and expensive looking paintbrush, a rose quartz that's used for healing spells and a key. Now she was definitely confused.
"I've got us a new home." Kol explained, watching as Evie's eyes lit up with happiness and excitement. "It's in New Orleans and we'll be moving there at the end of the week, there's lots of room there for us to paint together and new canvases, paints etc and the rose quartz is a way of me saying I'll do everything to help you heal your brother." "Oh, thank you, Kol! Thank you! I love you so much." Evie squealed with excitement, almost bursting with energy making Kol laugh. "I love you too, darling, and you're welcome." Kol said happily, kissing her lovingly before they enjoyed a lovely breakfast in bed together.
When they finally got up they showered together, having some fun in the shower while they were at it, then they just laze around all day either painting or watching movies together. Evie had woken up feeling fed up and miserable but her mood had changed all thanks to Kol. He knew just what to do to make her happy the same way she knew exactly what to do for him. But she knew the Scooby gang were planning something, so the sooner they were gone the better. For no one messes with a Gemini's and an Original's mate, anyone who dare try; well let's just say they won't like the consequences.
