Chapter Three, Meeting Marcel

Today was the day they would be letting Marcel and Evie was nervous. How this meeting went all affected their life here and the progress of breaking Kol's Curse and restoring Kai's sanity could also be affected.
"You're thinking too hard, darling." A voice, Kol's voice, said from behind her, arms wrapping around her waist as a kiss planted on her shoulder.
"I just want it to go well. If it doesn't..." Evie trailed off with a sigh.
"Darling, listen to me." Kol said gently but firmly, as he turned her around on the stool so she was now facing him. "I got permission from him before we moved here, I told you baby. This is just to find out what it is we need for the ritual to remove the curse, plus you can do magic. The witches here can't because they were sacrificing children but Marcel saved one." Kol explained, causing Evie's eyes to widen as she remembered that tidbit now.

"They've turned her into a walking bomb." Evie exclaimed with wide eyes. "If the magic inside her isn't released soon it'll kill her and all in her immediate vicinity."
"I doubt Marcel knows this. If we plan this right we can get them to help by finding the Sun stone for us while you siphon the excess magic from her into the stone." Kol thought over. "You are brilliant my love." He said, kissing her forehead.

Once Evie finished changing into a stripped T-shirt, a black skirt, white converses, natural eyeshadow, red lipstick and her hair in two French plaits and a blue denim jacket. And Kol had changed into black jeans, brown boots, a white T-shirt and brown leather jacket; he took his loves' hand kissing her knuckles before entwined their fingers and headed for the meeting at the old church. Kol knew he was keeping the girl he rescued there.

After explaining everything they needed for both rituals to restore her brother's sanity and break the curse on Kol, as well as what had happened to the girl he rescued, Davina, Marcel thought it over before nodding his head.
"This will help Davina? She'll live after this?" He asked, he had to make sure even if Kol wasn't like the rest of his family and even if he did feel sorry for what Evie's family were putting her through (it reminded him of Davina) he had to make sure. Davina was his charge now.
"It will. It's her best chance to live a normal life. If we leave it, she'll start losing control and her magic as well as the foreign magic within her will start lashing out at not only those around her but at herself." Evie explained.

"So how do we do it? How do we siphon away the foreign magic?" Marcel asked. Evie looked at him uneasily.
"It's alright love, he won't hurt you. He does, I'll kill him." Kol said, kissing Evie's temple lovingly but looked warningly at Marcel.
"Evie, I nor none of the vampires here will ever hurt you I swear and if the witches try they'll be killed." Marcel promised.
"I'm from the Gemini Coven. Normally in my family we're only born twins or the rare case singletons never triplets until I came along. I'm the youngest out of me and brother and sister, which in my psycho family makes only me an outcast. Not only that but I'm more powerful than them and I'm classed as an abomination because I'm half normal witch and half siphoner witch.

The only other siphoner is my eldest brother, Kai, who I want to help. They claimed us as abominations for years but he only loved and cared for me because I didn't treat him that way. You know the saying evil is made, he snapped as anyone would, but I think if we return his sanity it'll help him. But I also need to hide which is why Kol moved us here as in my coven we have something called the Merge when we reach twenty-two we merge with our siblings and only the strongest survive and I'll have to go against both my siblings who think I'm an outcast." Evie finished explaining, getting everything off of her chest. There was silence as everyone took in what Evie had said and were disgusted at her family.
"Witches man!" One vampire moaned in disgust.

"Don't worry Evie you're safe here I promise. I'll get everyone searching for the Sun Stone, starting with the witches here. Then you can use one of the vampires down in the garden and the witch, Agnes, who caused Davina to go through this. I'll also get people to retrieve some Bennett blood and the Ascendent. Perhaps-" Marcel was interrupted by a sweet voice behind him.
"I'll help Evie help her brother. She's going to get all this out of me and then I can be normal again." Davina said, as she entered the room some more. "Thank you." She said, hugging Evie gratefully.

"You're welcome. I'm just sorry you've gone through so much." Evie apologised.
"It seems we both have at the hands of our family and coven." Davina sighed.
"I suppose we have." Evie agreed sadly.
"Darling, if you wait until I have my magic back I can help you do the ritual to help Kai. I don't want you to overwork yourself and put yourself into a coma." Kol said worriedly.
"That settles it then." Marcel said, after Evie nodded. "I want everyone out looking for the Sun stone, blood from a Bennett witch and the Ascendent! Go to Mystic Falls if you have to but do not let anyone know and bring them back straight to myself, Kol or Evie. Then I want Agnes in chains where she can't do magic and locked in the dungeon while I pick a criminal from the garden. You have your orders now, get to it!" Marcel ordered, as the vamps sped away to complete their tasks.
