A/N. This is a long one, there is Smut in this chapter so 18+ is advised.

Standing waiting to board the United Airline flight to New York, Merida turns her phone on to Aeroplan mode and slips her headphones on. After takeoff the food came around, Merida had ordered chicken waffles which was very American before setting into her seat to watch 'Marley and Me'. Half way through the movie Merida must have nodded of being awaken by the bright white clouds outside the window, her head was rested against the window.

Sitting up and checking the remaining flight time Merida realized she had slept for most of the flight with just an hour before landing. The captain announced the soon descend into Newark Airport and the seatbelt sign was on again.

After a smooth landing, going through boarder security and collecting luggage Merida was outside awaiting her Uber. After a half hour drive she was in the middle of the big apple, looking out the window to all the tall buildings they pass one of the tallest, asking the driver what that building was he had replies "J.B.B building mam, James Buchanan Barnes building, he's a really big investor here in the states.". Merida hummed back in response not paying much attention to the big investor the driver was talking about.

Taking her phone out her pocked she found herself texting Bucky seeing he'd know more about the city.

Merida - "Hey Bucky, it's Merida! I'm in NYC. Any good places you'd recommend for a bite to eat? Aeroplane food isn't very good!".

Bucky - "Which hotel are you staying in? I'll bring you New York's finest and I'll pick some food up on the way x'

Merida - "I'm staying at the Paramount Hotel off Time Square. Not checked in yet but when I do I'll tell you the room number :)'

Merida's Uber driver parked outside the Paramount hotel just footsteps away from Time Square. Heading into the hotel Merida proceeded to check in and make her way towards the elevator before making her way to room 199. Merida stares into the blue eyes in shock trying to get her head around what he had just said. He wasn't married to her.

"Anyway, what about Steve eh?" Bucky raised an eyebrow.
"Steve and I weren't official. I slept with him but that's all it was. He's away back to the army and we both agreed it was only sex." Merida explained running her fingers through the hair of the man lay on top of her.
