I clench my fist and look at everyone around us and notice how many people just heard what Maya all said.

"Do you wanna get suspended for a few days just because she's jealous?" Emma asks, knowing what's good.

"If she keeps talking like that, then yeah. Yeah I want too" I say with fury in my eyes

"Kiara. Get yourself together in the bathroom and come back calm. The most triggering thing for her is acting like you don't care" she says seriously

I take her advice even do I still want to rip Maya's head off.

I pack my bag and leave to the bathroom.

"Dante?"

"Hi Kiara" he answers

"This might be a weird question, but can you maybe not pick me up today from school?"

"What why?"

"Something happened and I feel like walking home. That's all"

"Kiara, Jaden told me specifically to pick you up every day from school to make sure you safe"

"I'm safe. I'm going to walk home with Emma"

"What happened?" He asks again.

I didn't answer hoping he would just hang up and leave it

"Come on, we both know I'm the best listener," he says proudly

"There was just some stuff said about my home situation and I think it's the best to let it just be for now"

"But why can't I pick you up then?"

"Because I don't want people to know I have a driver! It's not that complicated"

"Huh, isn't more a flex or so?"

"I don't know but, when people start talking shit about you then no, it's not a flex"

"Alright"

"Okay, thank you"

"No problem"

He hangs up immediately. I hope I didn't say something wrong to make him upset.

"It's fine Kiara. I think everyone forgot" Avani says for peace of mind, but it didn't help at all.

"Seriously Avani? With all the people staring at her and whispering things about it, you think everyone forgot?" Larray says

Emma gives him a slap on his arm and looks at him to shut up.

"No, he's right. This will be going on for a while, but there isn't anything I can do about it" I say standing up from my chair as I heard the bell going off, giving us the sign that school is done for today.

"Oh, baby there's a lot that we can do about it-"

"Something that won't cause us trouble please" Emma interrupts Larray. He rolls his eyes and shrugs his shoulders

"Than I'm out of ideas," he says putting his hands in his pockets.

"It's fine, but I really need to talk to Maya about this. She just started this whole fight for no reason" I sigh as we almost were at the end of the hallway

"Honestly I've been noticing that she has been off lately, but every time I asked about it she would ignore me or snap something quick," Avani says, frowning

we were silent until we were almost outside of school.

"Can someone drop me off at my place? I cancelled my....... driver and-"

"Uhh, Kiara. I think someone else is here to pick you" Emma says

I look follow her eyes and see her pointing at the black mat Porsche Panamera.

I noticed a man standing in the front of de car, leaning on it. "Oh, god"

He looked up and smirked waited for me to come to him.

"Get it girl" Larray whispered as he pushed me forward to take the first step.

I just walked pretty fast his way and only focussed my eyes on him so I didn't have to see everyone else's faces

"Jaden, what are you doing here?" I said through my teeth

"I'm here to pick you up babe" He smirks and pulls me closer to him by my waist

"This isn't necessary I was planning on walking home," I said not smiling at him

He pulls me in closer and attached his lips to mine. To be honest, it wasn't like the whole school was watching, maybe 15 people, but you have no idea how fast this will spread.

"You worry way too much about what other people think," he says calm like nothing is going on.

I sigh "I wanna go home" and get in the car

He nods and gets in as well. I sit in my seat like a sack of potatoes in the hope new people will not notice I was sitting here.

When we were about two minutes away from my school I sit up again "Jaden, why the hell did you do that?"

"Dante called me, you seemed quite upset and I think I know why," He says rubbing my thigh with his free hand as he holds the wheel with his other one.

"Well, then you should have called me and not have done this!" I say with my arms crossed

"No, I like this more"

"And of course you had to come to my school with your most expensive car," I say

He chuckles and shakes his head "It's cute how you think this is my most expensive car sweetheart"
