"oh my god. Happy birthday!" Larray cheers when arrived at my locker
"thank you" I smile and hug him.
I already greeted everyone on my way into the school.
"So what's on the agenda for today after school? The mall? pedicures?" Avani asks
"well Addison is picking us up after school and then we can go where we want to" I smile with a little bit of pride
"That's amazing!" Emma cheers
"Sooooo? where do you want to go after school?" Avani asks
"I think maybe a restaurant first and then after we can just go shopping" I suggest
"that sounds perfect. Whatever you want were in"
"thank you, guys. What class do you guys have the first period?" I ask as I grab some books out of my locker
"Uh- I have art," Larray says
"Yeah me too. Emma, you have math right?" Avani asks
Emma nods and looks at me waiting for my answer
"fuck, I have English" I roll my eyes and close my locker
"well I think we have to go because our subjects are on the other side of the building" Emma wines
"Yeah, it's okay. I will see you guys at lunch break?" I ask
they all nod and say goodbye
As I walk to my class another dew people wish me a happy birthday and smile.

I sit down in English at the last row and notice I'm actually pretty early to this class. and of course, the only person who has to be early as well has to be Calvin.
As he walks into the class I just act like I didn't see him and ignore his presence.
I hear him sitting next to me and place something on my desk. I slowly look his way and see he is just being busy on his phone, but notice a little blue bag standing on my desk
"I know you don't like to be the centre of attention when it comes to your birthday, but I just wanted to give you something," he says fast looking up from his phone and then back
"Thank you," I say and open the bag
there wasn't much just some of my favourite candy and drinks, but at least he remembered my birthday and thought about getting me something
"thanks, Calvin. I appreciate it" I smile
The boy got me a present I have to be a little bit nice.
"It's nothing, but your welcome"
"How did you remember" I question as I put the little blue bag in my own bag.
"your birthday? How would I not remember" He chuckles
I smile and look down
"But enough. What did Jaden get you?" He asks
"since when are you interested in Jaden and me?"
"I'm not. I'm trying to be nice" He response
I giggle and shake my head
I'm not about to tell my boyfriends half brother who was in a relationship with me that he doesn't know it's my birthday. That will only make it worse than it already is.
"he said it was a surprise and I had to wait until tonight," I say with a smirk
he chuckles and shakes his head as other students come into the class as well.
