Dating Pietro Maximoff and Also Having Enhanced Speed Would Include...

Let's be honest, Pietro is thrilled to have somebody else who's as fast as him

He may trust Wanda like no other because she's his twin, but it does get irritating when he wants to just get up and move or speak at what seems like a hundred words a minute and she just...can't

So, when you show up, he's practically over the moon

He doesn't have to catch himself when he's speaking too fast because there are no blank stares, just growing excitement

It was only a matter of time before the two of you started dating, you were practically meant for each other since the first second you met

He likes to pay attention to the little things, like racing away to pick you a flower and then appearing again seconds later The two of you also get bored and start speeding over to one part of the room or the other

This sometimes bothers the Avengers, but the two of you just laugh it off and keep going

This has also led to races between the two of you to see which speedster is faster

Sometimes, they are very intense, and the results will be gloated over for days to follow

Other times, Pietro just likes to see the way you turn around, beaming, when you win

So he might just happen to not try his hardest, not because he thinks you're slower (trust me, that's not true at all) but just because he wants to see that same golden smile on your face

You're not blind, of course, and catch on to this pretty easily

So, the next time he tries to let you win, you go slow as well

This leads to races where the whole point is to see who can go the slowest, and the two of you will break out into laughter over how slow you're going

However, even your seemingly slowest speeds are far faster than any of the other Avengers, even Steve, and they roll their eyes whenever they hear you talking about it

However, fast or slow, you and Pietro seem to be the perfect pair, especially because of your powers

That's just how it always is- Y/N and Pietro, chasing each other around the Avengers headquarters or racing over rocky terrain or always having each other's backs in a fight
