Part 3 Rakeem

Part 3 'Rakeem'

I glanced up as walking back inside of my palace. As I looked up I saw the most beautiful face I ever seen.

 'Mate'

 My heart leapt in glee, happy to see her perfect face. Her olive skin was just as perfect a I imagined it to be. Her long black hair fell so softly down her back, as she sat on the balcony staring back at me. She's so perfect. I kept my eyes on her. Why did she look away? I felt hurt that she broke our stare. I begged with my eyes for her to look back. But she kept looking down. My heart broke hoping she would look at me again but she didn't. I kept walking with my guards. But as soon as I got inside I ran to the room where all the girls were.

 "Stop!" I turned to see my beta Raja yelling.

 I growled at him for telling me what to do.

 I yelled back "What!?!

" He froze and bowed his head.

 "Sorry sire. But you can't go in their yet. The girls aren't ready."

 I rolled my eyes and growled. Why is he keeping me from my mate.

I turn towards the door, "She's in there. I have to see her."

 I put my head down in defeat. My wolf is going crazy just wanting to see her. Just for her to look at me with those beautiful eyes she of hers. I smirk thinking about her.

"Prince Rakeem. Please wait. You don't want to scare them.They're not ready to see you."

 I growled and ignored what else he had to say. I didn't care my mate could be in rags and still look as beautiful as she did in beautiful garments. I smile again picturing her. I just want her. I want her bad.

"Rakeem!"

 I looked behind me it was my mother. She must have been listening to the whole thing.

She walked closer to me. "Rakeem honey. I think you should listen to Raja. Maybe you need to see the other girls and see what they have to offer."

I growled at my mother. I don't want to see the other girls. I want to see my mate.

"Rakeem don't growl at me, let's go and see what your father has to say about it. Come." She waved her hand for me to follow.

I sighed and followed her.

 I mind link Raja, 'Get the girls ready, tonight will be the night I choose one.'

 He replied 'Yes sire.'

We walked in my fathers room where he sat on his thrown.

He smiled and stood up as he saw us walk in, "Son! Come join me!"

 He smiled and lifted up a cup of wine. I smiled and walk towards him. I grab the cup and drank all of it.

 "Father I have wonderful news."

He walk to the table obviously drunk and sat down.

 He screamed "What is it boy! I don't want to wait until I'm dead in my grave."

 I chuckled "I found my mate."

 He jumped up out of his seat with his cup in his hand "That a boy!"

He hugged me with one arm and swung me around. We all started laughing as he spilled his wine everywhere. He put me down and looked peaked behind me like he was looking for something.

 He frowned "Where is she boy?"

 My smile went away "Well she's in the other room with the other females. I haven't exactly met her yet."

 He chuckle "Boy what are you waiting for? Go meet her."

 I sighed "I can't."

 He gave me a weird look and finish his drink "And why not?"

 My mother walked up from behind me "Because he has to wait. Maybe he'll find someone who is better than her. He has to meet them all. Out of respect."

 He frowned at her "Woman. Do you think I met all those other girls after I met you? No I loved you the minute I saw you. And killed the rest of them."

 He went over and kissed her.

 I looked away and rolled my eyes "I'm meeting her tonight. Well, I'm going to find her tonight."

 I smiled anticipating about tonight. I can't wait to see her. And actually talk to her.

 My dad put his hand on my shoulder "I'm proud of you son. You'll be a great alpha after you get married. Lets drink to it!"

He walked over to the the vase full of wine and filled the two gold cups up with red wine. He walked over and gave me one of cups.

He raised his cup in the air "To my son!"

 I hit my glass into his and drank the wine. I smiled again thinking about my mate. Tonight will be the night.
