Part 5 'Rakeem'

Everyone sat down. My eyes still locked on hers. Why isn't she looking back? Every other girl was looking at me. Why wasn't she?

 I stood up "I'm glad to see everyone and to finally meet you all."

 I took my eyes off her for a second to acknowledge everyone else. I looked right back at her. She didn't even acknowledge that I was talking. What's wrong with her? Did they hurt her? Just the thought of someone hurting my mate made me want to kill everyone in the room. I growled low enough that no one would be able to hear but probably my father. Who was looking at me.

He mind linked me 'Calm down.'

 I sat down 'She's not looking at me.'

 He shook his head 'Go talk to her.'

 I nodded my head and got up from the table. I walk over to where she was. The closer I got the faster my heart start to beat.

 I stopped at her chair "Come with me."

 I grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the chair. As soon as I touched her I felt the shocks between us. Her eyes widen. I pulled her out of the room and into a private room.

 I spoke with force "Tell me your name."

 She looked up and said in a confident voice "Meeria."

 I smiled Meeria. That's such a beautiful name. She was beautiful.

 "I'm Rakeem."

She just gave me a stern look. What's wrong with her? I grabbed her closer trying to kiss her. She pushed me away and pulled a knife out from behind her back an put it to my neck. I backed up knowing she wouldn't kill me, plus I could easily fight her. I growled at her.

 She growled back "Take me back home."

The thought of her leaving broke my heart. Why isn't she feeling the same way?

"No! You belong here with me."

 She started to dip the knife deeper to my throat "I'm not scared to kill you."

 I moved back and slap the knife out of her hand and pulled mine out and pull it to her throat.

"You don't like that feeling? do you?"

She whimpered. "Please."

 I sighed and dropped the knife.

'Meeria'

"I'm your mate."

He said I stepped back a little and repeated "You're my mate?"

He nodded "Yes. I know you feel it. Whenever we touch there's a shock between us. See."

He walked a little closer to me and kissed me on my lips. My eyes widen. I felt it. He pulled back from the kiss. Not wanting him to stop. I just stood there in a daze. He can't be my mate. Not the prince.

 "I love you."

 He grabbed my waist and pulled me even closer. He loves me? I pushed him back which hurt being away from him.

 "You don't even know me."

 I gave him a smolder "Well then let's get to know each other."

I rolled my eyes "Why? I don't want to get know you. I want to go home."

 He growled at me. Saying that was a little uncalled for but I needed to make it clear.

 "Follow me."

 He totally ignored my question. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me as we ran down the hall. We got to his room. He walk over to where his clothes are.

"Here put this on."

He threw a brown cape at me. I put it on. He looked back and smiled. He put on a cape his self and put the hood on the cover his face.

"Put your hood on." He demanded. I did as he said as he walked closer to me and kissed me. He pulled away

 "Lets go."

 He grabbed my hand and ran out his room dragging me behind him.

 I screamed "Where are we going!?!"

 He glance back fast and put his fingers to his soft lips "Shhh! You'll see."

I groaned. We ran pass all these beautiful things in his castle. Stuff I never imagine to see. I tried to memorize all my surroundings so I can get my sister and leave. He stopped in front of a wall and looked back and smirked at me. He push the wall and there was a secret passage way. We walk through the passage way it lead to some stairs. He squeezed my hand and ran up the stairs dragging me behind him.

 I yelled "Stop I know how to walk myself."

he stop running and let go of my hand. He looked at me in a worry way

"I know. I just want you to run away from me. I really want to show you something."

I smiled at him "I won't run away from you I promise. I'm pretty sure you'll catch me anyways."

 He chuckled and started to walk up the stairs.

 I ask, "Now isn't this better?"

He sigh "I guess so."

He looked back at me. I almost passed out he was so perfect. I tried to act like it didn't faze me but it was so hard. He chuckled again.

We got to the top of the staircase and Rakeem opened the small door. We walk into this room that look like it didn't even belong in the castle. It had a blanket and a pillow on the floor. There was a huge window frame that had no glass in it just a old blanket swaying in the wind. Rakeem walked over to a little table and lit the candle.

 He said "Sit."

 he point by the wall. I walked over and sat against the wall. He walked over with a basket of food in one hand and a jar full of water. He handed me the basket of food and put the water on the ground. He sat down next to me.

He look at me "I thought you would be hungry."

 I smiled and said "Thanks."

 I grab a grape and ate it. We sat in silence while we ate our food.

Finally he broke the silence "Where are you from?"

 I grabbed another grape and said "A small village on the outskirts. My father owns a farm. What kingdom is this?"

He said with pride "The kingdom of Belleza. The strongest and most powerful kingdom of the land. You should honored you're here."

 I scoffed and rolled my eyes. He's so arrogant "Why did you even bring me up here? Shouldn't you be entertaining your other guest?"

 He frowned at me "Why can't you just be happy I brought you up here? All those girls down there would kill to be in your position and here you are complaining."

I stood up

 "Then go get one of those girls. I'm going back."

 I started to walk away. He grabbed my arm which sent shocks through my whole body and yanked me down next to him.

He growled "You know why I bought you up here? I bought you here to show you I'm not just an arrogant prince that I don't care about all the riches. I wish I would of got a mate who actually care and likes me."

 He let go of my hand and threw the jar of water against the wall and got up. He started to walk away. I whimpered I don't want to leave please don't leave. He grabbed the door knob.

 I whispered "Please don't go."

 He just stood there and held the door knob. Finally he turned around. I gave him a sad smile and got up. I walk towards him and gave him a hug.

 He hugged me back and whispered in my ear "I just want you to be a part of my world." I looked at him and kissed him.
