Jake's POV:
I pull up to Frankie's house, it's filled with flashing lights and everyone in the front yard is either passed out or making out. I park the car and look over at Kylie who Is about to exit the car but I grab her wrist stopping her. She looks at me confused through the dark of the car.
"You picked me," I state making her look more confused. "You could've gone in the other car with your...' friends' but you didn't, why?" I ask.
"Because you're also my friend," She says with a soft smile. But I want more.
I nod flashing her the same smile and exit the car. She comes to my side and I put a hand on her back, walking us inside. As we enter Frankie greets us.
"Jake! You made it!" She laughs drunkenly as she throws her arms around me. I laugh and hug her back earning a glare from Kylie. I give her a confused look but she just rolls her eyes and walks through the crowd.
"Come one!" Frankie drags me by the arm to the kitchen. She pours me a cup of well whatever she grabbed. I drink it as I look around the crowd for Kylie, I got to say I do like this jealous act, but she also did call me a 'friend', she is filled with mixed emotions.
Alisha's POV:
I stand on the side of the crowd as everyone dances and grinds on each other. Frankie left somewhere when Jake came, which is funny because his eyes haven't left the crowd, or to be more specific Kylie.
More people start entering the house and start pushing around me to the point I get claustrophobic. I push past people out to the backyard only to see the one person I wouldn't want to be around. I look back inside the house and groan, I'm not going back in there.
"Why are you out here alone? Got no friends to be around?" I take a seat on the ground next to Julian.
"I could ask the same to you," He takes a swig of his beer before offering it to me.
I look at the bottle then back at him and take a small sip of it. "Well I won't soon enough, plus I could be in bed watching Netflix right now, but I had to make an appearance," I say handing the glass bottle back. "You still haven't answered my question."
"Because I want to," Stubborn as always I see.
