Jake's POV:
By the time Alisha texted me about the kiss, I had already remembered. Sure I feel like a jerk for forgetting but I mean I was black-out drunk so she couldn't hold a grudge right? Plus I really wished we didn't kiss, just yet because I want to be sober enough to remember the next morning instead of forgetting it like a dick.
Luckily, Alisha sent me their location which I was thankful for so I could go to them and talk with Kylie. I got into my car and put the address of the mall they were at into the GPS. Once I'm in the unusually large parking lot, I text her saying I'm outside the entrance. After a few minutes, Kylie and Alisha push through the doors carrying large bags.
Kylie sees me through the window and hesitates before Alisha (my personal wingman apparently) pushes her, shoving her to my car. They toss all the bags into the backseats, guessing they are most Kylie's-
I open the passenger door and nod inside for Kylie. She looks between me and the car before getting in and crossing her arms. I shake my head and close the door, going to the driver's seat.
"Dude at least drop me home-" Alisha says from outside the car as I start it.
"No can do," I shrug with fake sympathy before driving off making Kylie scoff.
I decide not to push her for now and drive in silence. The luck of living in Iceland means we have beautiful waters, and it's not the beach like she loves, but it is close enough. I park outside of a small secluded area that has a large pond surrounded by large trees.
I see Kylie smile softly as we exit the car and near the pond. She stands next to me admiring the view. I take her hand and turn to look at her.
"I'm sorry, I was drunk and I don't remember as much as I would want to, but I could make it up to you," I say looking into her eyes.
"Make it up how?" She looks up at me.
"Like this," I say before pressing my lips against hers, reliving the moments of last night, except 100 times better.
Alisha's POV:
I watch as Jake drives off with Kylie, he could've at least has the decency to drop me off, I mean my house is literally the way they are going-
After a painful 30 minutes of walking back home, I practically crash on my bed after setting an alarm.
I wake up to the annoyingly loud blaring of my alarm, I groan as I put a pillow over my head, patting the area where my phone was before dismissing the alarm. Man, I wish I could just stay in bed and sleep for just 5 more minutes. After a few moments between deciding between just sleeping in and getting ready for school, I got up and took a nice warm shower, getting ready.
I enter school and walk towards my locker, putting textbooks away and taking the ones I need for my next classes. As I close and lock my locker, I see a large group at the end of the hall and spot Julian. Oh, shoot I forgot about the fake relationship. If I just keep my head down and-
"Look there she is!" He yells as he walks towards me.
He drapes his arm around me and I cringe from the contact earning a knowing look from him. "Guys this is Alisha," He announces, that's when I see Jake and Kylie closer than usual. I give him two thumbs up discreetly making him roll his eyes with a smile, I look back at Julian with my fakest smile.
That's when I realize he has bandages on his hand. "Dude what happened-" I eye his hand. "Oh, I meant babe,"
"Oh yeah you know a huge wolf bit it," He says a little too arrogantly. Definitely showing off. "We have wolves? the biggest thing here is a dog-" I say and he shoots me a glare before looking at me "lovingly".
"Kiss it," He whispers looking over my shoulder.
"Your hand? No-" I give him an incredulous look.
"She's looking." He says bringing his eyes back to me.
I internally groan before bringing his hand in mine and giving it a small kiss on his hand over the bandage. "Is she still looking?" I ask in a whisper and he shakes his head so I drop his head. He looks back at everyone with his Mr. Popular smile before giving me a big kiss on my forehead, I'm going to have to clean that with acid when I get home.
