Jake's POV:

I wait for Kylie at her locker in the morning, what can I say, I got her and I'm not letting her slip. I see her making her way from the doors of the school, her face lights up when she sees me.

She smiles as she runs over to me, throwing her arms around me. I laugh and wrap my arms around her waist. I lift her off the floor a bit and twirl her around before putting her down. Her hands go to the back of my neck as she crashes her lips to mine. I smile and kiss her back as passionately, there is no rush to the kiss which I love. We know just when to be dirty and/or passionate.

We get interrupted by someone clearing their throat. We pull apart to see a teacher with their hands on her hips. She gives us a nod, warning us not to do PDA, before walking off.

"Do you wanna come over tonight? We can have our famous sleepovers!" She says excitedly making me chuckle.

"Of course I'll come, I smile still holding her waist.

Fast forward to after-school, Kylie was waiting for me outside when I got out of class. I held her hand as we walked to her house. The walk isn't that far, thank God we lived near school. Her house came first so I dropped her off before going to my place to take some extra clothes. Since my mom wasn't home I sent her a text before leaving for Kylie's house, I'm sure she wouldn't mind it she never did, it was Kylie after all.

Alisha's POV:

After last night's texts, Julian stopped answering me. Either he fell asleep or I did something wrong for him to ignore me.

When I got to school, I spotted him and made my way to where he was with his friend group. I tap on his shoulder when I reach him.

"Why are you ignoring my texts?" I ask.

"Because I said what I had to," He shrugs, making me frown. "We did it, made her feel hurt and that was the whole purpose right? So we're done." He says and I can't help but feel hurt.

"So that's it? We go back to ignoring and hating each other?" I ask in disbelief.

"Why not?" He answers.

"Because I thought we were friends." Friends isn't the word I'd want to use to describe us but who knows how he feels.

Something in his eyes changes, changing his entire facial expression. "I have class," He says before turning on his heels and walking away.

The entire school day I tried to talk to Julian but he kept avoiding me. When I would go to his table during lunch he would leave the cafeteria, when he would enter our class, he would take the seat farthest from me.

After school I practically raced through the halls out to the student parking lot. I spotted him at his truck, he was getting in after he threw his backpack into the backseat. I ran to his truck, and knocked on the window on the passenger seat side. He looks at me and sighs before unlocking the door.

I got in and closed the door once I sat down. "I thought we were good," I start and he watches me. "I mean we went from laughing and joking yesterday to you avoiding me," I turned in the seat to face him. "Even as stupid as it may seem, I thought there was something between us too." I finish and look at him. "Well? Say something I just poured my heart out," I roll my eyes.

"I was avoiding you because that's how I felt, you're the girl I'm meant to hate and here I am falling for you," my heart melts. "And thank fucking god you feel the same, I didn't know how much longer I could keep avoiding you," He says making me laugh softly.

"Well now that we both feel the same way," I start and lean over the center console grabbing a hold of his shirt and placing my lips against his. He freezes for a moment before smiling and coaxing his lips against mine. His hand goes to my cheek as my lips part, allowing his tongue to tease mine. The kiss is slow paced yet intimate. We finally pulled apart, "now was that childish?" I smile as his nose brushes against mine. "Mm...yea," He says, making me laugh as he goes to kiss me again.
