Sometime within the 1900s, a horrible series of events caused the entire race of aura wielders to vanish from society.

It was as if any trace of them existing had disappeared, it was as if they had gone extinct. But why?

Lifverra witnessing this knew that even greater trouble would soon follow.

And on June 21,2006 the greater trouble that Lifverra foresaw had come to be.

The day where her children had betrayed her, the day where the greed of humans sought to control the power that she used to grant them life.

Though what pained her was not the attacks that were getting past her weakened barrier, it was that this greed of her children would not end here, for she would not be the only victim of this greed. For the secret land where the aura wielders fled to had been found.

Seeing countless lives lost was a much stronger pain than the one being inflicted on her by the greed of the ones trying to control her power. Even through this pain, she refused to use the power of the gods to defend herself, for her purpose with the power was to give life, not death.

Though Lifverra knew her time had come, with her physical body and with the power of the gods.

She knew it was time for another to possess this great power.

Young Girl POV

I watched as our kingdom was being attacked.

I watched countless explosions from the height of the castle.

I heard the screams of my people all around me. What's going to happen? Why is this happening?

Boom!

Another explosion went off, this time it was so close that I could feel the heat of it from the castle balcony. What should I do? Am I going to d--

"Calm down, Everything will be alright." said the voice I recognized as my father's. It was as if he had read my mind.

I looked up at my parents, I saw as my father looked out towards the kingdom, watching the explosions with a stern gaze. The king of this land. A man of great stature, the most powerful in the entire kingdom, a man who was both strong in body and spirit.

Then my mother, who stood by my father like always, with a comforting hand on his shoulder. A lady of great beauty, she was everything a queen should be and more, she was strong, compassionate, caring and brave.

However when I saw them looking out from the castle entrance, I couldn't feel that bravery and strength I usually do.

All I could see was fear and dread.

In my mother's arm, was my year old baby-brother. Crying because of the countless explosions around us.

I had always wanted a younger sibling and now I have one, the news that I would be becoming an older sister was probably the happiest moment in my life.

The nine months that I had to wait to see him felt like years, but when I saw him, the wait was worth it. I couldn't be any happier with who my sibling is. He seems to have that strength both our parents possess, but also has the caring and compassionate eyes of my mother. I was overjoyed that these were the people my future would be with, but what happened next had shattered that joy.

My mother turned to me, she crouched down to my height and said," take your brother and run as far as you can from the kingdom, ok?".

I froze after hearing this, "What?!Why?What about you?".

Tears flowed through both our eyes, even my father looked heartbroken.

"You must go, please!", my mother Practically begged me with tears now flowing down my face without any resistance.
