Gary POV

I was walking along the street going home from school, it was pretty normal but nobody could stop talking about this random freak from the orphanage.

Honestly, I wouldn't want to be anywhere near that kid from the things I'm hearing.

I continued down the street as I saw a blind guy walking down towards me using his walking stick to guide him. I then saw 20 dollars fall out of his pocket. Oh, the blind guy dropped twenty bucks.

I walked up to the 20-dollar bill and picked it up, and went on with my day. It felt pretty damn good, I got 20 bucks from some pathetic blind dude and no one even saw me do it. I thought to myself, as I continued back home completely unaware of any presence around.

I passed by the Credit view park, it was really empty. There weren't any people walking around or any of the kids from my school hanging around either. It was odd, the place is usually filled with either the losers or the old folks walking around. I couldn't help but feel weird.

Eventually I turned into an alleyway that was a shortcut to my house. As I continued to walk I started to feel as if I was being watched. I look over my shoulder but still nothing.

I then began to hear noises that sound like footsteps behind me. I quickly turned around to see that there was nothing,

"Wow I must be really stressed," I said tiredly.

I then breathed a sigh of relief realizing that I'm just being paranoid. Man! schools has been really been messing with me.

"You like money quite a bit, don't you?" said a cold voice behind me.

I turn around to see a figure in an elegant black suit, but with his face covered by a black cloak.

"Who the hell are you?!" I said, I was trying to be as intimidating as possible. It wasn't working.

"Don't worry, I can appreciate a man who values money, why don't come to this address, I think you'll be able to earn a lot there," he said coolly

"And why should I trust you, how do I know you're not gonna just con me or some random creep!" I said sternly and to my surprise with some confidence.

"Hmm I like you kid, I presume you would like money huh, well how about this in advance," he said with a smirk and dropped a suitcase at my feet.

I opened it up to see it filled with 100-dollar bills. Holy sh–.

"50 thousand dollars in advance, I hope that's enough,"

I looked at the money in my hand with Complete shock. I also see that there is little card in the money with the address he was talking about. I looked up to ask him a question about all of this, but when I did he was nowhere to be found. I then look back at my phone, I might have found the jackpot.

A couple hours later

I made my way up the mountain that was at the very edge of our city and saw a very modern looking mansion. Honestly, I should've known that this guy's house would be nice from the money he just gave me.

I walked up to the front gate, to be let in by a huge security guard. I was then guided into a room where I saw the man from earlier staring out the window towards the entire city.

"I hope the trek up here wasn't too strenuous, would you like a drink? '' he asked with the most emotionless tone I've ever heard.

"Uh-oh n-no sir, I'm fine t-thank yo-u," I said, stuttering out of extreme fear. He began to chuckle,
