HEY I JUST WANT TO SAY THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR READING, IT REALLY GIVES ME CONFIDENCE AND I'M SO HAPPY THERE OTHER PEOPLE WHO APPRECIATE RAINBOW ROWELL'S WONDERFUL SERIES AND ALL THE LOVELY SNOWBAZ FEELS. LOVE YOU GUYS ;)

They walked down the corridor, their shoulders slightly bumping as they walked. Neither boy knew where this put them or what this made them, but whatever it was was new. It was different then anything either of them had been through, and they knew it wouldn't be easy. This didn't matter though because, though they were both broken and outcasts of sorts, they were happy. And they had each other.

"What'll we tell Agatha?" Simon said after a few moments of silence.

"We can tell her to shove off." Baz replied simply.

"And the others? Penelope?"

"If your little friends brain is half as big as I assume it is, then she shouldn't be too surprised." Baz chuckled, darkly.

Simon reprimanded Baz by nudging his shoulder with his own. Baz however quickly snaked his free arm around Simon's waist and pulled him in for a deep kiss, before pulling away and continuing to walk forward. Simon stood there blinking for a few moments before blushing and following Baz down the corridor.

                                                                                                *

Once back in their dorm, Baz suggested that Simon join him in watching an episode of his favorite show, since they still had about 30 minutes until their first class. Simon agreed in an attempt to sound casual and walked in after Baz. He had a nagging feeling that there was something he needed to do as he stared at the fuzzy cream flooring, but after glancing up at Baz (wrapped in two blankets and the duvet) on his bed with his worn laptop and an adorable look of pure concentration, he knew whatever it was could wait.

Simon was a bit unsure of how Baz was likely to react to casual touching. He decided not to test it, and took a seat on the edge of the bed.

"Honestly, Snow. How do you plan on seeing the laptop screen from over there?" Baz said, as if Simon were several miles away.

"Umm. Well, I'm not really sure. Maybe if you hadn't smothered yourself with 50 blankets, I could fit next to you..." Simon trailed off, defensively.

"C'mere."

Baz swiftly lifted a mass of blankets from his lap, and pulled Simon back against him. He then put them over Simon and placed the laptop on his legs.

"It's called Dexter." Baz stated, and added after seeing Snow's confused face, "the show."

As Baz qued it up, Simon leaned back into Baz's hard chest and tried to relax his shaking fists. Part of him was screaming 'What are you doing?' 'What the bloody hell has gotten into you, Snow?', and then there was another part that was quietly whispering, 'Just let go. You're happy aren't you?' 'Give in. You love him.' He hadn't realized the show had started until Baz reached around him and held his hands steady with his own. That's when Simon relaxed. He was with Baz. For so long that had meant that he wasn't safe, that he wasn't secure, and that he had to keep his gaurd up. Now everything was flipped and he didn't know how he was supposed to act. He almost wished they could go back to fighting. To fighting not just each other, but their feelings. It would be so much easier. His hands would still shake, but he knew it would be from anger towards Basil, not whatever this was now.

"Snow."

"Yeah."

"Relax. Please."

"I'm trying."

"Can I help?"

"I don't know Baz. It's just... alot."

"Here..."

Baz hit pause on the laptop, and wrapped his arms tighter around Simon's waist. As Simon leaned into him, Baz traced patterns on the back of his hand, and continued,

"What's it like, Snow? To have everyone like you? To be so perfect and pure and human?"

"Well, I wouldn't know." Simon replied, pulling one of his hands from Baz's grasp and running it through his blue hair. He stared at Baz arms. They were incredibly pale. A shade from Albino.

"Everyone hates me now, I'm definitley not perfect, and you're human as well, so you tell me."

Baz sighed, and stared down at Simon. He could tell Snow his secret now, but he felt like it might scare him off. He didn't want to risk losing Snow and this, right after it started.

"Right. Well, I don't hate you and your perfect to me."

"What about the human part?" Snow asked, turning his head up to gaze into Baz eyes. His pink lips were pressed in a thin line, and his adam's apple bobbed as he swallowed. His pale cheekbones rested high on the sides of his face, and his jaw was all hard edges and straight lines.

"It's... it's... human. So human." Baz replied, parting his pink lips and emitting a dark little chuckle.

Baz leaned down a little so his forhead rested upon Simon's and his eyes fluttered shut. He looked tired, Simon thought. Like an angel that had been fighting demons, and had taken a short break to rest it's weary eyes. Eyes that had seen much more then they had ever wanted to, and somehow not enough.

"Simon Oliver Snow, what is taking you so long. All the other ingrediants are ready. You just left me there. Not that I minded... I actually found a rather interesting potion on teeth straightening. Simon? What ar-" Penelope said in one breath as she swung open the door to their dorm.

Baz's eyes flew open in sync with simon's and they both turned to stare at Penelope. Baz looked like a deer in headlights and Simon was his frequently occuring shade of crimson. Penelope's mouth was open like she was waiting for a giant cheeseburger to enter, and her eyes were the size of dishes.

"Oh." was all she said, glancing back and forth between the two boys, for once she was at a loss for words.
