(This song fits Jesse to a T.)

Rain. A calming, serene sound. Thunder. A low, rolling sound. Lightning. A menacing, fierce crack like a whip. A thunderstorm. A relaxing demon, a fearless cry in the night. The dark. The black satin sky with beautiful diamond colored spots. Lightning struck off to my left as I drove down Mongrove Road. It was dark so the flash that arrived before the sound was blinding. The sounds were calming, relieving my anxiety.

My name is Jaido Jaygo. I'm an eighteen year old senior high school student. I'm heading back to my gang house, 'Diamond Phoenix' or 'DP' for short. I'm the Guardian for Zayne Tyrone. Zayne, my leader, doesn't particularly get along very well with me. I've no idea why. But when I pulled up to the house, there was another black Chevrolet Suburban sitting there in the driveway. Exiting my black diesel Dodge Ram 3500 with red racing up the hood and down the tailgate, then walking up the front door, I could hear muffled talking. Opening the door, suddenly it got quiet. Inside the living room stood my fellow gang members. And to the right of me, stood Jesse James all alone, leaning up against the wall with his arms crossed. Jesse is the gang leader of 'Vindictive Revenge' or 'VR' for short.

"Why's he here?" I asked, skeptical.

Jesse looked at me. He's a narcissistic, sadistic freak. It's never good news when he's around.

"You shouldn't talk to your Boss like that." Jesse said.

"You aren't my fucking Boss, motherfucker. Zayne is." I snapped aggressively.

"Yes, I am. I just bought you." Jesse said.

I looked at Zayne.

"Please don't tell me this is true." I pleaded.

Zayne nodded.

"Yep. Jesse needs a Guardian, so I let him buy you. Best ten grand I've ever earned." Zayne coldly said.

"Why? I know we don't always get along well but this is extreme." I said.

I have to admit that I'm a little hurt.

"I need a Guardian. My last one was killed." Jesse said.

"I'm not surprised. And I wouldn't be shocked if he was killed by you. Rumor has it that you're insane and abusive." I said.

"I'm neither of those things. I demand the upmost respect and loyalty and I expect it out of all of my members. And I certainly expect it out of you." Jesse said.

"Not a chance in hell, fucker." I said, now very hostile.

"Don't disrespect him, Jaido. He's your Boss now. Not me. I can't nor won't save your dumbass." Zayne said.

"Fuck him to hell and back. Zayne, he's been our number one rival for years now. Like, come on, I've been your Guardian for eight years. Why get rid of me now? And don't you dare use 'we don't get along' as an excuse." I questioned.

"He's very disrespectful, as you can see, Jesse. You certainly have your work cut out for you with him." Zayne said, looking at Jesse.

That twat totally ignored my question.

"I see. But it's nothing I can't handle. However, you should answer his question." Jesse said.

Greg is Jesse 's Third in command and Nitro is his Second in command by the way.

"Simple. I wanted a change of scenery. Like we established, you and I never got along anyway. And you were getting old to look at." Zayne said.

"Yeah, but that's not an excuse. Guardians and Leaders are supposed to be bonded for life." I said.

I, for the life of my, can not figure this out. Maybe I'm just stupid, but my brain was not understanding this situation. I don't handle change well either, I'm a control freak. But it's true, when a leader gets a Guardian, they are supposed to be together for life so to speak.

"Well, I originally didn't want you, but I tolerated you because you were good eye candy. Well, you used to be anyway. Now you're just an anorexic, ugly prick." Zayne admitted.

"You cu-" I was cut off.

"Your stuff is already packed up in Greg's Suburban outside. You can follow us back in your truck. We'll give you the address." Jesse said, breaking up the soon to happen fight.

"I know where your gang house is located. We raided it once. I can drive there myself without your guidance." I said.

"Fine then. We'll be behind you if you need it. If you get lost, just pull over and we'll take over." Jesse said.

"We?" I questioned him.

Who's 'we?'

"Greg, Nitro and Halender have been waiting in the SUV. They are excited to meet you." Jesse said.

"Oh, I'm sure they are." I said, bitterly.

"You are a glum, angry little gremlin." Jesse said.

"Well, you're the dumbass that bought me without meeting me first." I bit back.

Jesse chuckled, clearly not affected by my attitude and hostility towards him.

"Alright, fair enough. JJ, my angry little gremlin." Jesse joked.

"I'm not a gremlin!" I shouted.

"Temper, temper." Jesse snarkily said.

"Fuck off." I snapped at him.

"Jaido! Knock it off!" Zayne shouted at me.

I went quiet. Zayne was not to mess with. Especially when he started yelling. From what I've heard, neither is Jesse.

"Don't talk to my Guardian like that. You will do well to remember that he is not longer yours, Zayne." Jesse said, his tone darker and cold.

Jesse stood up for me. Wow, I didn't think he would. I'm thoroughly impressed.

"Thanks." I mumbled.

"You belong to me. Not anyone else. You also belong to Vindictive Revenge." Jesse said.
"Belong?" I questioned.

"You guard me. Halender guards Greg and Nitro. You belong to me in a different way/. A way you can't know yet." Jesse said.

"Oh... Okay then.." I trailed off, more confused than ever.

"You'll understand in due time." Jesse reassured.

"Well, you should all get out then. "Zayne said.

"Let's go, JJ." Jesse said.

I nodded, following him out. The rain had stopped now we had thunder and dry lightning.

I just hope this was a good decision and it doesn't come back to bite me the in the ass one day.
