Chapter 4: Jaido Jaygo

Arriving at the gang meeting in neutral territory about four hours later. It was a dreadfully long drive. Hal has been irritating me for the last four hours. So it's been very interesting. We all got out of my truck and headed in. Manachi was at the door checking in all the gangs that were coming. Zayne was in front of us, I don't recognize his new Guardian. He seemed to recognize me, judging by the deadly look on his face. Great, love that for me, please note the sarcasm there. I know I'm still salty and hurting from my last interaction with Zayne. I wonder if Zayne is too deep down. But I haven't really given Jesse and the others a chance to show me that my life might just be better off here with them. With Jesse as my leader, my Boss. We sat our table and Hal stood in front of the table in front of Greg and Nitro and I stood in front of Jesse. Hal and I were standing next to each other.

"I would like death." Hal said.
"I mean, same. Why?" I said.
"I feel like you hate me." Hal said.
I turned his head slowly towards him.
"What was your first clue?" He asked.
Hal gaped at me.
"Oh my god, you're so gullible." I said, attempting to joke.
"Awe, you like me?" Hal asked.
"I didn't say that." I said.
"You do, don't lie." Hal said.
"I will fucking slap the shit outta you." I said.
"Meanie." Hal said.
"I swear you didn't mature past elementary school." I said.
"You're so mean to me." Hal said.
"I'm a mean person." I said.
"You'll learn to love us." Hal said.
"I would rather die." I said.
"Well tough nuggies." Hal said.

Greg, Nitro and Jesse just shook our heads at their interaction. Hal irritates me so much. He doesn't shut up and everyone can tell it annoys me.
"Do you ever shut up?" I blatantly asked.
See? I told you.
"No. I got ADHD and I'm my own worst enemy." Hal said.
"Oh of fucking course you do. And I'm stuck dealing with you." I said.
Jesse chuckled.
"Why are you laughing?" I asked, turning slightly, facing him.
"You two are comical." Jesse said.
I glared at him.
"I can feel the love radiating between you two." Hal said.
I glared darker at him.
"I wish death upon you." I said.
"Wow, the love is real." Hal dryly said.
"Fuck off, you retard." I said.
"Stupid head." Hal said.
"Oh wow, good comeback." I dryly said.

Greg, Nitro and Jesse just looked at each other and smiled. 

"I hate meetings. I don't have the patience for them." Halender complained.

"Get over it, snowflake." I said.

Halender scoffed.

"Rude." Halender commented.

"Fuck you." I bit back.

"I'd really rather you not." Halender said.

"Good. I don't want to touch your ratchet ass anyway." I snapped back.

He gaped at me like a fish out of water.

"Awe, did I hurt your wittle feelings, duckling?" I asked, in a mocking baby toned voice.

"Kinda. I'm like mildly offended." Halender said, his hand to his heart.

"Poor wittle baby. I'll try to be nicer next time." I said.

He smacked me leftarm and I just slowly turned me head and gave him the deadliest glare I had. Hestifled a laugh and smirked at me. I hate being touched without my permission.I'm a bit of a control freak. I honest to God don't know how anyone deals with me.

"Welcome to our 300th gang meeting. Happy 300th anniversary to us! A clap and a half." Manachi said.
We all did and of course I didn't, I simply stood here with my arms crossed. Manachi and I shared a look. A knowing look, I shook his head and slightly smiled. I can tell it struck a nerve with Jesse. He's starting to get incredibly possessive and territorial over me already, almost like I'm his and everyone will know it soon enough.
"First of all, I would like to say a thank you to our Guardians. All the hard work they do is incredible and definitely appreciated." Manachi said.
I rolled my eyes.
"It's my fucking job. What I get paid and was trained to do." I mumbled under my breath.
