Izuku stared at the rising sun giving its early warmth, while still blinking from time the time, trying to get his foggy mind to focus. He hadn't slept a single minute last night and was now paying the price. He hadn't been able to stop thinking about the servant's words. About a stranger from the other kingdom being his lover and the king hurting him if he would blow his cover. How could Izuku possibly love a stranger, he had never even seen before or got to know even in the slightest bit.

Izuku fidgeted at his expensive new jade fabric and tried to forget about his pounding heart due to the stress. Iida had said Deku used to love this color with his eyes, so it would probably be the best fit. He had said it so casually. Almost like he hadn't bat an eye on the fact Izuku looked exactly like the prince. Izuku couldn't help but feel like he was missing some parts of the story. Almost like the nobles knew more than what they were wanting to share with Izuku. He wondered if Deku may have felt the same way.

Suddenly the carriage stopped and revealed an even bigger palace, blindingly beautiful in the golden spotlight the early sun provided. Izuku almost gasped, but quikly held it in, remembering the king's orders.

He tried to look as casual as ever, like he wasn't seeing the most beautiful thing he had ever seen in his whole life, and descended the carriage, still trying to stare subtly at the beautiful towers.

When suddenly his foot slipped in the new shoes from this morning and he lost balance before his face immediately went straight for the ground. Izuku screamed already shielding his face for the hit that was about to follow, but his closed eyes relaxed after realizing the ground didn't seem like it was coming.

When he looked up his jade familiar eyes were met by unknown deep crimson ones only inches away from him and the gasp Izuku had been holding in slipped softly out of his lips, almost brushing the other man's face. The palace in the golden light was no match for this man's face. The noble had golden blond spikey hair and eyes filled with fire, making Izuku feel lost in crimson flames.

When he noticed the man was holding his waist way too closely to his, his cheeks heat up almost instantly, still frozen by the mesmerizing noble's appearance. He couldn't help but let his eyes fall over the persons body too, desperate to see more of this stranger standing before him.

The man wore a long red cape, almost as intense as his eyes and a white costume with golden pieces of fabric matching his spikey hair. Izuku couldn't help but notice the man's beautiful body, making his heart pound even faster.

When he looked back up at the noble's eyes, he regretted doing all that immediately, realizing the obvious glare the noble was giving him and the fact he noticed the crown on the man's head. He had been staring way too obviously at his fake lover and it made Izuku realize he had probably already blown his cover.

"You came back" the noble spoke like he hadn't noticed the obvious change, while letting go of the greenette's waist. Izuku looked down at the ground hiding his obvious blush and trying to forget about the unsubtle staring a second ago. He tried not to focus on his racing heart and answered his fake lover's greeting.

"Ye-yes of-of course" Izuku stuttered, while trying so hard not to. He kept fidgeting with his fingers, still not ready to realize it was this man, he was supposed to be madly in love with.

"You said you weren't" the prince said again, now in a way deeper angry and threatening tone. After Katsuki had approved of the flustered face the greenette had made, he turned around and started walking into the gardens. "Guess you really never change" he yelled back at the greenette who still seemed glued to the spot next to the carriage, not knowing what to think of those words. When he suddenly made a gesture to Izuku gesturing to follow him and left all the servants, who had been standing behind him.

Izuku followed the man, worried about his angry words, he didn't seem to be able to place. What did he mean? Did Deku tell the prince about his plan to run away? Then why would the king go through all this trouble?

"Still angry, are we?" Katsuki said in a cold tone, still not looking at the confused greenette behind him. Izuku felt the questions building up again and felt his courage fade away in seconds. Was the couple fighting before Deku left? flew through Izuku's head. When suddenly the man abruptly stopped walking and stared at the man furiously. "Answer me when I ask you something"

"I-I'm so-so sorry, Ka-Katsuki" Izuku mumbled not sure about the fact he remembered the name, Iida had said this morning, correctly. Izuku thought appologizing would make the angry frown on the prince's face fade away, but it only made place for an even angrier scowl. Which made Izuku question what he had done wrong and try to ignore the cold shiver running down his spine.

Suddenly the blond walked to the greenette, who had been following him hesitantly, and almost put his nose to Izuku's. "Still calling me that Deku?" he growled angrily while staring deeply in the new but familiar jade eyes. He sounded deeply offended, while Izuku was trying so hard not to break eye contact.

A weird feeling struck his heart when he was called by another person's name. As if the words couldn't reach him, cause they weren't meant for him. Like the emptiness in his heart grew faster than usual. He wanted so hard to tell him who he really was, cause it all felt wrong, but the king's threats kept Izuku from doing so. When the words of the other man woke him out of his twisted thoughts and grabbed his attention again.

"I know you're angry, but-" The prince now spoke in away softer voice as if he was actually hurting. He lifted Izuku's chin while not letting go of the lost space between their noses. "Call me Kacchan" he whispered as if he couldn't let go of the pain torturing him. "please" he added in an even more desperate tone, making Izuku's mind immediately blank. How could the prince be so cold and then so fragile just a minute after? It made him wonder which of his words were real.

When suddenly the prince's lips were softly pressed on Izuku's. After such broken words the greenette had let down his guard and the blond had taken his chance.

Izuku felt bad, really bad, about the warm feeling that seemed to fill up the empty space inside. About the fact he really enjoyed the blond's lip's and tongue's motions that weren't meant for him. About the fact he let his arms unconciously hang around the blond's neck, he wasn't supposed to touch.

Even with all that in mind he still couldn't help but chase the hot feeling the blond's kisses seemed to give him inside. He couldn't really follow the blond's motions, but loved the unknown the blond took him to. He wanted more so came closer, when Katsuki seemed to be about to end the kiss. The prince responded almost instantly to the desperate behavior of the greenette in front of him. So grabbed the greenette's cheeks with one hand and made him push closer to him. Even then Izuku wanted more so came closer, trying not to lose the hot tingling feeling.

But even then he realized the other's love could never fill his heart, knowing it wasn't his heart the blond meant to complete.

When suddenly he was pushed out of his trance when he heard a soft chuckle that seemed to come from the blond. Izuku's lips backed off from the devilish grin the blond's lips had made.

"You're always so desperate" Katsuki spoke in a cocky tone, while placing his hand on the greenette's forehead before pushing him away. After enjoying the greenette's confused pained face for some time, he turned around and started walking again.

Izuku was left alone speachless, embarrased and broken. Had the blond just acted to be desperate, when realizing the greenette would act like this? Had he just pretended to be in pain? Izuku couldn't find the strength to care, as he realized the broken feeling had almost taken over the others.

He couldn't deny the hot tingly feeling he had chased, had made place for a new cold empty space filling his heart, because of that one certain word.

"Always"
