Third Pov
A man with tied-up pick hair and a sleeveless white hakama helps Langa up.
"Cherry?" "No way!" the crowd says. (Y/n) knew this man and this man knew him. But since (Y/n) wasn't in his normal skating outfit Cherry knew not to act like they knew each other. "The AI Skater!" The blonde man with the green-haired woman said. "Cherry blossom?" Reki question. When Langa looks closer, he realizes this 'Cherry' was the guy he was trying to get a job from. "Even if he is an amateur, if he gets on a board here, he has to skate. That's the rule." Cherry said. Turning to Langa and lightly smiling at him.
"Hey, stop it! It's absolutely impossible for an amateur to go against someone like him!" Reki tried to tell Langa. "It won't just be broken bones you know!" Langa just ignored him and made sure the board was secure more. "Are you even listening to me?" "(Y/n) you know what I'm talking about!" "You'll never know until you try," Langa responded. "I do know! first off, you're-" but before he could continue (Y/n) grabbed him and dragged him away from the starting line before the workers could do it. With that, the siren blared announcing a race was starting.
"Don't go to fast! If anything, done be reckless!" Reki shouted to Langa while being held back by (Y/n). "I think he understands Reki." (Y/n) said. "Sure he may be a newbie but have some faith in him." After speaking, the red beeps started counting down, Shadow looked at Langa with a smug face, while the other held a neutral one. The white flag with the 'S' symbol swayed in the air signaling the racers to begin, Shadow quickly skates while people cheer him on... But then they looked behind him.
Langa was still at the starting line...
"What the hell are you doing?" Reki shouted. Terrified. Langa looked down to his feet to notice that he wasn't moving at all. 'I-is he stuck?' (Y/n) questioned himself. Langa tried moving his feet back and forth, but he still stayed in the same spot. So he decided on one thing, going down, people made gasps wondering what his plan was... He just scooted using his hands to push the board. The crowd went dead quiet while the duo waiting for him sweatdropped. "--For real?" A person in the crowd says, "That dude's pushing with his hand!" another one said laughing. The crowd laughed even more while the group of four just watched in shame. "Told you so!" Reki muttered.
"I was a bit cautious because Cherry said something... But what's that?" Shadow looked behind him to see Langa very far behind trying to balance but having problems. "What do you think you're doing?" a watcher said. "Take this seriously!" Another one shouted. Langa tried balancing himself but he was having trouble. "It's slightly different..." Langa thought to himself once he was standing on it. "..but this is vaguely..." "Similar..." he thought to himself looking at the path. While looking forward flashes of snow are in his vision, then he leans down a bit and starts skating like a pro.
While Reki and (Y/n) were waiting on Langa the lady from before shouted something that caught their attention. "Hold on! you must be kidding me?" "What the hell is that guy?" a masculine voice said. Reki pushes them and looks up at the screen while (Y/n) just looks from behind them. On the screen, Langa is shown skating as if he's done this before. "L-Langa?" his eye twitched before looking back at (Y/n) for his reaction. (Y/n) was just focused on the screen his eyes slightly widened but you couldn't really tell. "I'm gonna ride ahead. Wanna hop on you two?" Cherry asks riding his AI motorcycle.
'Weird...' Shadow ponders to himself. 'Why isn't everyone looking at me?' He looked at the crowd to see them all glued to their phones. "What is this?" A feminine voice asks showing the screen to the person near her. "How can he skate like that?" another voice askes. But nothing makes his eyes widen more when he hears someone say "He's gonna catch up!" 'Catch up?' Shadow questioned grunting slightly in frustration and looking behind himself. He doesn't see anyone so he goes back to looking forward, sighing in relief. 'Don't surprise me like that.' he thought to himself. That was until Langa was behind him, skating like a pro and turning. "I toyed around too much," Shadow concluded. He moved faster shouting "I'm not gonna let some total amateur catch up with me!"
"Heh," he said, thinking to himself that the amateur was left behind when turning, that is until Langa suddenly was right behind him, with a serious expression. "When the hell..." He tried to distract him by slightly pushing his board and moving his cape in his face but all Langa did was go ahead of him. 'Idiot! At that speed, you won't be able to turn the next corner... You'll crash!' He thought to himself, smiling. As Langa was about to crash into a group of people he did a ground spin and avoided the group. This shocked Shadow as he wasn't prepared for that. 'What the hell was that turn?' as they were turning Langa was almost on the floor with his board on the side. 'That's right, this board has wheels.' Langa reminded himself.
"I was watching you guys skate," Cherry told them while driving to the end of the path. "How he puts weight on the board, his stance and posture," "And how he fixed his feet in that position." "he is likely someone experienced in snowboarding." "So that's what I was thinking about..." (Y/n) muttered. All Reki could say was, "Snowboarding?"
Meanwhile in another location...
A record player is playing a song and a man hums to the tune... Screens with Langa are seen and a pale hand is moving to the tune as if he was conducting the song, then all the screens change to a close up of Langa... With the pale man ending his conducting and the song ends.
