Third Pov
The two skaters rush off, a pink car behind them beeping at skaters to move out of the way. "I'm gonna get a good look at the skating that beat me from behind you!" Shadow said driving. All of a sudden he heard one of his car doors close, confused he turned to his side to notice Reki in his car. (Y/n) taking this opportunity of the car stopping got into the car as well. "Wait, why are you hopping on without asking?" Shadow shouts at Reki. "Follow them," Reki ordered ignoring him. (Y/n) just went back on his phone since his switch was on low battery and he didn't want it to die. "This ain't no taxi! Get off!" Shadow argues back.
For the people outside the car, they just saw it shaking and slowly moving. "Straight up ahead," Reki said. "I know that!" Shadow yelled.
The duo skaters went down a hill turning corners. "Oh?" "He improved this much in this short a time period?" Cherry questioned. "That said..." Joe started.. "Miya still has the upper hand." "Your close friends with the two of them right kid?" Joe asked. But when he turned around he didn't notice (Y/n). "Kid?" Joe asked, in a puzzled tone. "Hm?" Cherry has now turned around and didn't notice (Y/n). "That's strange he was just here a few minutes ago..." Joe mumbled.
"What a disappointment," Miya muttered. Langa was behind him, him taking the obvious lead. "Why did Adam egg me on to do this?" Miya silently questioned. Langa heard this though and speeded up. Langa then did a trick landing in front of Miya. "What was that just now?" Joe asked watching from the screen. "A Rodeo Andy. That's a snowboarding move." Cherry explains.
"Something might just happen here! Let's bet on this, after all, Kaoru!" Joe says joyfully. "Don't call me by that name, dimwit!" Cherry says angrily. Doing a spin kick and hitting his ass. "Ow!" Joe yells in pain.
"Hey! What's up with that board?" Shadow asks. "I remodeled the wheels so that they'll spin in the direction of movement," "So he can skate sideways like when snowboarding." Reki confidently explained. "That way, no matter which way he swings the nose, it's hard to stress the board." Turning the car to follow the skaters Shadow continues the conversation. "Huh? Are you insane? If you did that, you'd never go straight!" "Normally, yeah," Reki said with a proud grin. "Only Langa can ride a board that insane!" Another turn ensues and Reki sticks his head out of the car window to shout encouragement. "Good going, Reki-L2S." "The Slime combo!
Miya yelled.
"Wait that's what you named the board?" (Y/n)/Skull asked. "AHHH!" "Wait when did you get here??" Shadow shouts at the other teen.
Miya had a flashback to his ex-friends. "We're not like you." The leader said. "You go off and get famous or something." The other one said. 'Why am I reminded of this right now?' Miya asked himself. "You look down on us, don't you?" The leader asked. "No," Miya responded quietly. "Are we your sidekicks or something?" The other spoke angrily. "No!" Miya said in distraught. "The hero can't party up with slimes!" The ex-friend spoke mockingly.
'I...' '...can't bother to lose after all this...' Miya grunted clenching his jaw. '...to some slimes!' Miya accelerated moving in front of Langa.
