My Friend is Warm(The Shadows Burn)

Hello, I am back from mini vaca on Tuesday and tired as heck. Bullies, you better watch out for Fall(but seriously though, she would probably kill you or torture you in the most painful ways).

(3rd POV)

"Fall-san?", questions Izuku.

The woman now formed outside from the wall and gave an affirmative nod.

"The pact gave me a reason to use my shadow form to help and so that it's easier to hide", said Fall. The both of them continued to talk until Izuku yawned. Fall just looks at him and quietly asks, "Are you tired?" Izuku hesitantly nodded to confirm that he is a bit sleepy.

"But I feel cold and it makes it harder to sleep", he explained. He suddenly feels a comforting warmth around him. He looks to see Fall hugging him.

"That's a temporary side effect of the pact, let me warm you up till you fall asleep, ok?, says Fall. Izuku only nodded tiredly and slowly started to fall asleep to Fall humming a small lullaby. He soon fell into sweet sleep.

Izuku woke up to his mom shaking him awake and reminding him that he has to go to school. When his mom left, he groggily got out of bed, changed his clothes, and brushed his teeth. As he was walking down the hall, he heard a voice but no body to attach to.

"Hey Izuku", he remembers that Fall is not in his dreams anymore and probably communicating through his head. "What did you dream about?", Fall attempts to start a conversation.

"Oh, I dreamed about swimming in a coral reef in the ocean. There were all sorts of fish and it was like I could breathe underwater", Izuku replies. The both of them talk for a few minutes till he was finally downstairs. When he was telling Fall about the sharks, he stopped when he notices his mom staring at him.

"Izuku, who were you talking to?", Momidoriya asks in concern. Izuku just worries for a moment and decides to just use the 'play dumb' card.

"Uuuuh, no one mom", he cheerfully replies. Inko looked skeptical for a moment but let it pass. They both ate breakfast quickly and head off. Izuku grabbed his backpack and Momidoriya ushered him to the car. As the minutes went by, they finally arrive at Aldera Elementary School.

He hopped out of the car and bid his mom goodbye. He quickly speeds and avoids everyone so no trouble will spark. Once school started, everything just went the same. And when by same, it means classmates calling him names, pulling cruel pranks on him, teachers not caring for him. But others starting to use their quirks on him was not normal. Turns out that Bakugous's 'friends' spread the word of Bakugou using his quirk and not getting in trouble for it.

And since the teacher didn't care for him, it was absolute hell on a whole new level. He could feel Fall getting angry each time someone hurt him on purpose but he kept telling her to do nothing bout it. It was now lunch and recess so everyone was outside playing heroes and villains, games, talking, and eating lunch. As he was about to open his bento while he was under a shady tree, he sees Bakugou and his 'friends' walking towards him. He quickly closes the bento and shoves it into his backpack quickly to avoid being ruined by them.

"So I see that useless Deku still comes running to his so-called friend", Bakugou says with a scowl. "I thought I told you to leave them alone Deku", he suddenly took a step forward as he says this. "I think I have to teach you more lessons till they get tired of healing you and see you as a nuisance like how everyone else does", he says with a growing smirk. He harshly grabs his forearm and expects to see Izuku crying when he burns him. But instead, he was the one to be burned.

Bakugou recoils his hand with a pained yelp and holds it while tears threaten to spill his eyes. His hand was now blistering and bleeding like he touched fire. Little drops of blood start to drip from his palm to the ground. Bakugou looks at his palm then to Izuku in horror. Horror was also painted on both of Bakugou's 'friend's' faces as they process what they have just witnessed.

"What. The. Fuck", Bakugou suddenly spoke out. The three of them start to run away from Izuku and towards the teacher. Izuku was left there stunned and realize the pact. Fall hurt Bakugou, Fall burned Bakugou. She said that she would protect him, but not how she would do it.

He couldn't blame her though, after what happened throughout most of the day, he could somewhat understand why she would do it. After what seemed like thirty minutes went by, he was called by the principal. He knows that he's probably in trouble for what happened. He grabbed his backpack and went on his way to the principal office. As he enters, he sees his teacher with an angry expression on her face, the principal with a disappointing expression on his face, and Bakugou and his 'friends' with a terrified expression on their faces.

"Now Midoriya, we called your mother and the other parents to come here and talk about the problem since Bakugou said you burned him", starts the principal with disbelief in his tone when he mentions the burn. As if being summoned, three pairs of parents plus one single parent enter the office. The principal ushered them to grab a chair and sit and then they began talking.

"What the fuck did the brat do?", Bakugou's mother, Mitsuki Bakugou, asks. Her husband, Masaru Bakugou, quietly tells her to not cuss in front of kids. The other parents present agreed to the question since they also wondered why they were called.

"Young Bakugou did nothing, it's young Midoriya who is in trouble", says the principal. Mitsuki started to cackle making the other parents(except Inko Midoriya and Masaru Bakugou) flinch in surprise.

"Izuku wouldn't cause any trouble, he's an angel", says Mitsuki as she stops laughing.

"I'm afraid he's no angel, he somehow burned young Bakugou's palm", says the principal. Now that caught everyone's attention, they knew that he was quirkless so it surprised him as much as the principal and the teacher. "Can you explain Bakugou?", asks the principal.

"The nerd burned me when I grabbed his arm, I don't know how he fucking did it but he burned me like his skin was fire", Bakugou explained. All the parent's faces mortified into shock then slowly turn to anger. Well, except Bakugou's parents and Momidoriya of course.

"Now because of this, we have to suspend young Midoriya for a week and I don't want to cause an argument. I suggest that young Bakugou should go to a proper doctor or a hospital to treat his burn", the principal says. He didn't care about properly accessing the situation so he was lazy about it and just dismissed everyone. Every parent just crabbed their child and went out. Bakugou's 'friend's' parents look at the Midoriyas with disgust.

The Midoriyas just tried to ignore it and went into their car. The drive was quiet and awkward but they soon arrived home. Izuku immediately ran to his room to avoid talking to his mom and locked the door. Fall suddenly appeared right in front of him and started to apologize for what she's done. Izuku wasn't angry so he forgave her and they both began to play heroes and villains with figurines.

(Fall's POV)

Izuku wasn't like a lot of mortals, he was nice and kind. I don't understand why they would be rude to him. It's been so long since I had a friend. And I'll make sure to burn anyone who dares to try to snuff out his light.

Whoah, this was long to type. I swear that Bakugou will be better as the story goes on. You guys are free to draw what you think Fall looks like in her shadow form and physical/humanish form, I would love to see what you guys come up with.
