4 | Where's Piper?

"I thought you were taking the dogs home? Why do you still have Oscar?" Cassie sees Chris with the dog still as she bounces Wyatt on her hip.

"His owners weren't home so I brought him back." He complains.

"You thirsty Oscar?" Cassie looks down at the dog and he barks.

"You're a baby whisper and a dog whisper." Chris watches her get a bowl filling it with water.

"No, I'm just know things." She laughs putting down the bowl.

"Your gift?" Chris walks up to her.

"No, common sense and instincts." She smiles at him walking away to put Wyatt in his playpen and he leaves to put Piper in her room.

"I wish you would help me with what's going on right now." He says making Cassie laugh as he comes back down.

"No, no, no. That's all on you. I want nothing to do with that." She walks over to him.

"Cassie, I thought we were a team." He grabs her by the shoulders.

"We are but sometimes you just have to abandon ship." She laughs. "Chris, there was a better way to do all this but you messed up." She gets serious with him.

He sighs as the sister show up and tell us everything about Leo being locked up. "You could have been killed, you know that? Huh? What were you thinking?" He gets into them.

"We were thinking of finding Leo, which we actually did if that matters to you." Paige says going through the book.

"I don't believe this. It's like neither of you guys are taking this very seriously." The bulldog barks at Chris. "Hey, do you mind?" Chris looks at Paige.

"Well, I can't help it if he doesn't like you. Hey, you were supposed to take him back home anyway." She tells him.

"I tried but the owners weren't there. Besides, the dog, he's not my job, he's yours." He snaps back.

"I know, don't remind me." The dog growls. "Hey, Oscar, lay down." Oscar walks over and lays down beside Paige.

"Aw, look, Paige, I think he likes you." Phoebe tells her.

"Yeah, great, don't tell me you can read his feelings now too." She rolls her eyes.

"No, but if I start licking your toes, run. Where's Piper?" Phoebe asks Chris and Cassie.

"I put her in her room hoping that it might jog her memory. Since nobody else seems to be trying to." Paige finds the Valkyries in the Book of Shadows. "Here it is. Valkyries. A powerful race of demigoddesses who scout the battle grounds for dying warriors." Paige reads some then Phoebe.

"Then take their souls to Valhalla where they prepare them for the final world battle." She finishes.

"Valkyries, huh?" Paige says.

"Does that mean they're good?" Phoebe asks.

"How can they be good if they've got Leo?" Paige asks.

"And how did they even get Leo? He's not a dying warrior, he's an Elder." Cassie adds making Chris secretly hit her.

"Look, why don't you guys concentrate on helping Piper and I'm gonna go fill in the Elders and see what they wanna do." Chris tells the sisters.

"But Chris, we don't have time for that. We have to go back for Leo now." Phoebe tells him.

"Why? It doesn't sound like he's in any sort of trouble." He tells her.

"He's only stuck in a cage." Paige adds.
