With the sisters gone we all stand in Wyatt's room to come up with a plan. "The way I see it, we're all targets for the slime. We need a plan to control it until the girls get back." Grams tells us.
"In the future, everyone tried to control the demon with no name. But it can't be done." Chris tells her and Leo.
"That's hardly a winning attitude, young man. And why in heaven's name couldn't the people in the future find some name for that thing?" She goes in.
"Speaking of the future, what's so awful that happens to Wyatt?" Leo looks at us.
"You know we can't tell you that." Chris looks at him.
"Come on, I'm an Elder." Chris shrugs.
"Excuse me, back on point. Uh, the slime? I'm taking suggestions." Grams says as I watch Wyatt, standing in his crib, reaches for his bottle sitting on a table next to him.
"We could orb it to an ice drift." Leo suggests.
"Nah, that's bad." I tell him.
"It's not bad, it's awful. You can't orb that thing, it feeds on magic." Grams makes a point.
"So what's your great idea?" Chris asks her.
"Are you giving me lip?" She tells him making me laugh at him.
"No." Chris steps back and I see Wyatt orbs his bottle.
"No!" I shout as the slime demon shoots out of the wall.
Leo grabs Wyatt and we all run downstairs. "Get Wyatt out of the house. If it tries to follow, I'll fire off an orb or two to distract it." Chris tells Leo. "You okay with that?" He asks Grams.
"Yeah, it's just what I had in mind." She tells him.
"How about you take him. If I orb with Chris it will go after the two of us even more." Leo hands me Wyatt and carry him towards the front door.
As I reach to open it green slime oozes up into the windows, blocking off the doorway. "We need another plan because we can't get out of the house." I rejoin the guys holding Wyatt close to me.
"What'd it do? Split in half?" Leo asks.
"How do we get out?" Chris looks around.
"I don't know. Orb?" Leo suggests and I shake my head no.
"The last time I orbed, that thing almost swallowed me whole." Chris reminds him.
"What do you think, Penny?" Grams stands in the doorway wearing tie-dyed sixties clothes.
"I think love conquers all. I think that we should take the demon into our arms and make it feel safe." The three of us look at each other then back at her.
"Leo, Cassie, could I talk to you for a second, please?" Chris asks for us.
"Do you mind holding him for a second?" I hand Wyatt to Grams.
"Come here, moonbeam." She takes him.
"Wyatt. His name's Wyatt." Leo tells her as we move away.
"One of the sisters must have changed the past because Penny clearly never meant to change from flower child to demon hunter." Grams sings to Wyatt.
"Clearly. Think the girls can fix the timeline and get back here?" The slime demon oozes up into the back door.
"I don't know. But this thing is trying to back us into a corner. Take Wyatt, Cassie. and Joan Baez here into the conservatory. I'll get what we need to fight it off." Leo, Grams, Wyatt, and me leave the kitchen.
