After taking an actual shower, I get dressed. Checking my appearance one last time in the mirror, I nod with approval and leave the room. As I'm heading down the corridor of the Fierri mansion, the delightful smell of breakfast foods permeate my nostrils.

The smell seemingly pulls me into a trance as I follow the invisible trail towards the dining room. I overhear voices that sound like the guys and Mama Fierri. Turning the corner, I enter the dining room where everyone is already seated.

Everyone immediately stops talking, all eyes on me. Marcellius' brothers and Mama Fierri are staring at me. They all share this knowing look. My face grows hot with embarrassment and I avert my gaze.

There's no way they heard me right?

"Finally!" Mama Fierri shouts, breaking the awkward silence. She clasps her hands together before standing up, waking over to me, and pulling me into a tight embrace. Cesare's got a smirk on his face, and that's when I know they in fact all heard me.

Shit.

What makes the situation worse is that if they heard me, then everyone else in the house heard me. They heard me getting my ass railed in the bathroom of their boss' house. What could be more embarrassing than that?

I felt so hopeless and vulnerable. I couldn't turn to Marcellius for help, because he was already gone. I wish he hadn't left me alone to deal with the awkwardness of his family.

Damn him.

"Hungry?" Luciano asks, holding up a piece of half eaten bacon. I was grateful for him because I knew he was trying to change the subject. To get everyone's mind off me and my sex life with the mafia boss.

"I'm sure Mia's stuffed," Cesare says with a smirk and a wink, making it quite clear what he's implying. He bursts into a fit of laughter, resting his hand over his chest as he tilts his head back in laughter. Luciano rolls his eyes, while Mama Fierri shakes her head with disappointment at her immature son. Niccolo joins in on the laughter, leaving me, Luciano, and Mama Fierri. They didn't find humor in his comment, and I especially didn't.

This was already awkward enough as it is. I didn't want Marcellius' whole family to know our business. But, I know now that just isn't possible with a family like the Fierri's. They seem to know everything about you, while you seem to know very little about them in turn.

I nod slowly, sitting down in the empty seat across from Luciano with nervousness. Cesare is beside me, still snickering to himself. Luciano makes me a plate of French toast, bacon, and eggs. Pushing the plate towards me, I thank him and look down.

I can still feel Mama Fierri's toothy grin, her eyes still trained on me. She's been waiting three years for me and her son to get together. Now her dreams are finally coming true. Well, sort of.

Nothing has been confirmed, and there's still questions that need to be answered like what happened to his ex-girlfriend, and who Selene and Miko are.

Marcellius was so on edge after those two names were mentioned. He even seemed surprised. What's frustrating me is that no one will tell me. I should've asked Marcellius a long time ago, but I was pissed at him and we weren't talking.

Maybe now that we are finally in a good place, he'll tell me. I feel like I need to know, so that I'm able to get the full picture of what I'm walking into with Marcellius and his family.

"So what is it you all do exactly?" I ask, shoving a piece of French toast into my mouth.

That was still the mystery of the day. Besides seeing a man be tortured and shot, I still had no idea what type of criminals this family even was. I don't know that I'd even call them criminals. To me, they are a normal, fun-loving, family that just happens to partake in criminal activity.
