Chapter 17: Worst than Before

After two months...

(Julia's POV)

"Good morning, Pat" Bianca, Sophia, Ken, Sed and I said

No response from Patricia. Walang hi, walang smile, hindi man lang kami tiningnan...

She go straight to her sit and browse her planner...

After a few seconds, inangat ni Pat ang ulo nya and raised her right eyebrow... "who will report today? Ano to? Walang magsasalita? Walang kikilos? Isang oras tayo dito tatanga?" She roam her eyes on the room... "where's Mr. Ramos?"

"Na-traffi-" Sed

"I'm here! Just on time!" Sabi ni James na kakadating lang, hingal na hingal na umupo sa pwesto nya

Patricia looked at her watched "it's 9:31, you're late!" She rolled her eyes "so, shall we? I don't wanna waste time anymore"

Yes, the old Patricia returned... mas worst pa, mas mataray, mas mahigpit... kung dati, nakakabiruan pa namin sya, ngayon, hindi na... bawal na pumasok sa opisina nya basta-basta, we should ask her secretary first... hibdi na pwede yung pa-easy easy sa trabaho... wala ng light moments, gusto nya laging mapag isa... bumalik na naman yung sobrang workaholic na Patricia... laging nag-oovertime, hindi kumakain... hindi nag rereply sa text messages pag hindi tungkol sa trabaho... nagkukulong sa condo during weekends... we didn't see her smiles and hear her laughs since Chad left...

Bianca and James started reporting about the events they handled last month... Pat was just looking at them w/no reaction on her face... para syang lutang, hindi katulad ng dati na she's so interested... she keeps on asking questions about the events...

"Okay" yan lang ang reaction mo, Pat? Seriously? Dati she have a lots of idea to improve every event.

  "Uy guys! May tumawag sakin kahapon, si Ms. Marga Valdez, I will be meeting her this afternoon for her mom and dad's golden anniversary! This is the first time na mag hahandle tayo ng golden anniversary... imagine, tumagal sila ng 50years... haaay, true love :">" Sophia said... I know she said this to lighten the moment, sobrang tahimik kasi dito sa meeting room.

Patricia rolled her eyes "true love? Tsss -_- whatever! Go back to work" she stood up and leave the meeting room...

Kami, naiwan dito sa meeting room... nganga... walang nagsasalita... lahat gulat sa nangyari.

"Wow" James

"Si Pat ba yun?" Sed

"Ay grabe" Ken

"Let's go back to work guys, bago pa tayo mahuli ni Pat dito... baka mas lalo pa tayonh malagot" yaya ko sa kanila

Grabe yung Patricia ngayon. Kakaiba! Mas masama syang ma-inlove samin, hindi nya kasi nilalabas yung tunay nyang nararamdaman, yung sakit... hindi nya iniiyak... kaya sya ganyan, tinatago nya lahat ng nararamdaman nya... she wants to show that she can make it, that she's strong... pero hindi... alam ko gusto nya ng sumabog sa sobrang sakit...

(Chad's POV)

It's been a month, since I last saw her... since I last hear her voice... pero sya pa din ang laman ng puso't isipan ko, sya lang...

"Pare, kamusta sya?" Tanong ko kina Sed, andito kami ngayon sa isang bar sa The ****, nakipag kita ako sa kanila para makibalita... since I left The Weddings, naputol na din ang communication namin... I tried calling her using ate Cherry's phone, but she already change her number...

"Nako pare! Ibang iba sa Patricia na nakilala mo!" Sed

"Sobrang sungit, hindi ngumingiti... kapag dumadating sya sa opisina, walang hi o good morning man lang dere-derecho yun sa opisina nya!" James
