Chapter Nine

Sky P.O.V

Sub was thrasing in his hospital bed. "Sub?" I asked him quietly. He was shivering, then the shivering subsided to what looked like he was shaking his head furiously, and finally it looked like he was having a seizure. Dr. Dowell came in just in time too.

I turned around and screamed, "YOU GOTTA FIX HIM!"

"Sir," Dr. Dowell said calmly. "I will try to 'fix' him."

"TRY?" I yelled, gripping him by his collar. "YOU WILL FIX HIM!"

"I cannot simply 'fix' a human," the doctor said, ripping my hands off. I sighed and looked at him with angry eyes.

"Shut up and work." And he obeyed. He put some medication into a large syringe and tilted Sub's head to expose the neck. Then he stuck the needle into Sub's neck.

"What's that for?" I asked suspicously. Dr. Dowell shook his head.

"It's a muscle relaxing medicene. Sub still seems to be in a coma, and we're trying our best. But in the meantime, this will relax him from any nightmare he has. May I ask, who are you?"

"Sub's...friend." There goes that sour taste again. Dr.Dowell nodded. A nurse came in and told Dr. Dowell that someone was here to visit Sub. "Who else?" I asked. The nurse called for a young man to come in. White hair covered one of his suprisingly red eyes, and he wore a black jacket drenched in rain water. Ethan. The doctor and nurse nodded and left.

"What happened?" Ethan asked in a swift movement of his fingers. I rubbed my nose and sighed.

"Sub is in a coma."

Ethan relaxed his hands at his sides and scowled. "How?" he asked menacingly.

"He was shot."

Ethan's eyes widened as the words slipped from my mouth. His fingers were trembling and he bared his teeth. I looked at Sub, who was finally at peace. Sub was nice. Kind and caring. A little loud, but still.

Why would anyone hurt him? He was like a child. A defenseless child.

I sighed and pulled Ethan into a hug. "I'm sorry Ethan, but I didn't see who did it. Really, if I known, I would've taken care of it." Ethan shook his head.

"It wasn't your fault." I blinked back tears and hugged Ethan tighter.

"It kinda was." I said. "I forced him to spend the day with me."

Ethan only chuckled. "When we're in love we do crazy things."

I felt my breathing stop and my heartbeat speed. "Y-You know?"

Ethan smiled. "I know Sub. And I read his diary."

I laughed and pulled out of the hug, shuffling my feet. "We have to find out who did this."

Ethan nodded. "Well, we could start by investigating. I saw Sub's Youtube history and found out that he was a fan if Danganronpa. I've learned a few things."

"Okay, Einstien," I mocked. "He was shot in the chest. Almost his heart."

Ethan shook his head. "What did the doctor give him?" I pointed to a syringe that held the same tinted green liquid that the doctor used. "Intresting." he said as he inspected it. "Let's take it to Seto to find out what it is!"

"Great idea!" I said as I put the syringe in my duffel bag and ran out the door. "Goodbye, Sub. I'll be back."

I promise.

???? P.O.V

"Sir!" Joesph said to me. "The poision is in his blood stream. I put it close to his neck so it could reach the heart faster."

"Good," I snapped. "For once you did something smart."

"Adam fell for the bait, sir." he finished.

"Excellent. Then we'll be happy. Just make sure he doesn't return until Sub is fully dead." Joesph nodded and left the room.

"Finally, no more distractions. Now Adam will have ME! AND ONLY ME!"
