Ray doesn't visit me today. Neither does Phil, but I appreciate the wave he gave me after he climbed the tree in the yard. And speaking of that tree, if I really stretch, I can see the top of his dark hair.
Today's the day. Ray's going to leave Conny's bear out to be found then Norman and Emma will finally know the truth.
Even though I already know, and won't be there to witness it, I find myself anxiously staring out the window.
Mama is down stairs with the younger ones, laying out on the yard as the kids play at Connie's request.
I think about opening the window and motioning at Ray when kids start trickling from the forest in groups and I realize at some point when I was lost in thought, they must have started a game. It's only when Emma, and Normal disappear from my sight, that my thoughts about Norman winning are confirmed.
I giggle as I mess around with a piece of string I found, seeing as I was the only one who has beaten Norman to this day.
Hi, it's me, Dee. And I'm sorry to say I won't be updating for a while. See, the thing is, I don't have a phone or a laptop of my own, I've been using my school laptop, and since the year is ending, I'm going to have to turn it back in! I might be able to sneak an update or two during the summer, but most likly not, so I apologize.
