   "I'm so glad you're here."

You stood in front of the mirror, gazing at the white dress with pride and happiness. The white dress that hugged the features so perfectly. The white dress that had diamonds lining it, the white dress that fell to the floor into a pool of snow and ice, the white dress that came with a thin veil; and above sat a crown of flowers.

It was the dress you had longed to wear since you were a child.

A wedding dress.

Mina glanced at you, "You look so beautiful." she gushed, "I can't we're finally here... it seems like just yesterday we were in UA, goofing about nonsense and now one of us is actually getting married!" she hugged you, "I'm so glad we're here together." she whispered into your hair.

You smiled, embracing the female as well. "It's been tough years, Mina...but we're finally here." you said, pulling away from the girl with the happiest smile you could muster, "The wedding day."

You remembered the day Mina called you. It was the day after Katsuki left your office. The day you were heartbroken once more. She called you for the first time in years. It only took one hello from her to make you burst into tears. That night, Mina stayed with you on the phone until your tears fell no more.

Since then, you two had reconciled. Five years was all it took for you and Mina to retain the friendship that had faded over the years. You were thirty years old now, and you had been practicing Psychiatry for three years. You had finally become the Psychiatrist you had dreamed of being since you were in high school.

You were an adult now, too. Mina was an adult as well.

Everyone you knew were adults already...time had passed quick for you.

But you were happy to be standing inside the prep room for the bride with Mina. You were happy that she was here for you today. You were happy that you two were together on the wedding day. Mina was overjoyed to see you happy, as well. She had missed you more than words could say.

You deserved to be happy.

A knock on the door startled you both. You pulled apart, only to see a pair of boys enter. It was Kaminari and Sero. They walked towards the both of you with the largest grins.

"Hey hey! Where's the bride?" greeted Sero as they approached you, wearing tuxedos and all.

"She's right here!" you exclaimed, giving a side hug to the black haired boy. Kaminari went and hugged Mina as well, the two of you interchanging until everyone had hugged each other. "I'm so glad you guys made it! I thought you would be late!" you reprimanded.

"Where's Eijiro?" questioned Mina, "Is he late?"

"No, no, he's in the other room getting ready." Kaminari explained.

Mina nodded, "And where's the groom?"

"Relax, Mina, the groom is getting ready too." Sero piped in.

You held her by the shoulders, "Come on, Mina. Don't be so nervous. Everything will go fine!"

Kaminari nodded, "Yeah! I mean, even Bakubro came from USA just to make sure this wedding was perfect." he said, "You two planned this thing to the last grain of rice on the buffet! There's no possible way that this will ever go haywire." he said, "You two are literally friendship goals, being bride and maid of honor."

"Matron of honor," Sero corrected, "She's married, remember?"

"Oh, right, right. Sorry, I forgot."

Mina rolled her eyes, "Seriously, Pikachu, how could you forget that one of us is already married?"

"And that one of us is getting married today." you piped in.

You and Mina looked at each other, smiling. The boys rolled their eyes in exasperation. You and Mina had been flaunting to everyone that the both of you would be married, and that was total #FriendshipGoals. Kaminari and Sero were sick of it, being two out of three singles in the friend group.

When the bell sounded, it signaled that the wedding began.

Everything was perfect.

The flowers and vines growing from the arch that towered over the white carpet that fell in between two crowds of chairs made the atmosphere lighter and happier. Several people occupied the seats, some people you knew, and some people you didn't - partly because they came from the groom's side.

And finally, the music.

You recognized the music, because it was the favorite music of Katsuki Bakugo himself.

And as you walked down the aisle, you could see how happy he looked. You walked past the crowds, towards him. He was standing on the position standing beside the pastor who held a book. You smiled at him, and he smiled at you. You could see the tears forming on the corners of his eyes.

You walked with every step, getting closer and closer to him.

It was as if the years faded away, and all that was left was you and him.

He was your bestfriend; and you were his.

You reached his side, smiling. "I can't believe we're actually here." you breathed out, "I can't believe you're actually standing underneath an arch, wearing a tuxedo, nonetheless." you said, chuckling as you fixed his necktie. You were so proud of him; you were so proud of yourself.

Katsuki Bakugo was the groom after all.

He smiled at you, "I love you, Y/N."

"I love you too, Katsuki." you said.

You walked to the side, seeing the crowds look to the beginning of the carpet. Then she walked in. The main attraction. She looked so beautiful; you had never been more happy. The white dress she wore hugged her figure, complimenting her bubble gum pink skin and hair. She was gorgeous; you were happy for her.

She was your bestfriend; and you were hers.

She reached your side, giddily exchanging smiles with you. She gave you the bouquet, and you happily accepted. She then faced the pastor, inhaling and exhaling heavily with shaky breaths. She was nervous, that much was expected. You were so proud of her; you were so proud of them.

Mina Ashido was the bride after all.

And the moment they said their "I do's" was all it took for applause to resound within the wedding venue. You remembered hearing the bustling applause in your wedding too. You remembered how happy you were that day. Upon seeing Mina and Katsuki lock their marriage in a kiss, you began to applaud as well.

You were happy for them.

You had long realized that you and Katsuki were never meant to be together. However, you also knew that he would always be your soulmate; your best friend; your stronghold. You two were connected in a way that surpassed romance; you two were friends. Closest friends. You two were...ethereally bound together.

You were Y/N Blackwell, the wife of Mark Blackwell and the mother of three kids.

You were the best friend of Katsuki and Mina Bakugo, and you wouldn't have it any other way.
