Bad dreams

Kou was spending the night at his house, Mitsuba, since Terunii was driving him crazy with chores.

The two boys were in Mitsuba's bedroom on their phones. Occasionally, they'd show each other a video or picture they found cool.

"Hey Kou.." Mitsuba asks. Kou looks towards him. "Wanna watch a movie?"

"Sure!" Kou replies. "What'd you wanna watch?" Mitsuba wanted to seem cool to Kou, so he fearlessly chose a horror movie. Mitsuba actually hated horror movies, but he thought Kou would be the type to like them.

In the middle of the movie, the girl is going deeper into the woods until she finds her boyfriend dead on the floor! Her reaction was very realistic and made Kou wonder what he'd do in this situation.

Mitsuba jumped up and clinged onto Kou's waist, making the blue-eyed boy laugh. "We can turn this off it's too scary." Kou says.

Mitsuba quickly shakes his head no. They go a couple more minutes and Kou discovers his Boyfriend's idea.

"Mitsuba, I don't really like horror movies either." Mitsuba flutters his eyes in suprise. "OH THANK GOD." He quickly turned off the t.v., then realizing it was pitch black, and they couldn't make out where anyhing was.

"Wanna just go to sleep?" Kou asked. Mitsuba nodded his head and Kou carried Mitsuba up the stairs, trying not to trip.

He dropped him on the bed, not high enough to hurt the boy. "Hey!" Mitsuba punched Kou softly in the stomach. Kou laughed and lay down next to his boyfriend, and soon they drifted to sleep

Kou awoke to Mitsuba sitting across from him on his phone. "Goodmorning, love!" Mitsuba smiled. "Good morning."  Kou said awkwardly. It was odd for Mitsuba to call Kou pet names.

"Hey Kou." Mitsuba looked up at the blonde. "We should go on a walk!" He said with a smile.

"That's a little out of character for you, but sure!" Kou said.

The two boys got dressed and head outside with plenty of snacks, water, and of course, Mitsuba's camera. "Ok, let's go!" Mitsuba excitedly runs ahead of Kou into a forest.

It was so calm and peaceful. The bees were buzzing around, deer frolicking in the tall grasses and leaves shading the boys from the sun. Kou watched as his adorable boyfriend took photos of everything, having the time of his life.

"KOU LOOK OVER THERE!!" Mitsuba pointed and then quickly ran off, probably to go take a picture. "Mitsuba, wait up!" Kou laughed.

Kou turned the corner and stopped in his tracks. "M-Mitsuba?"

There on the ground, Mitsuba lay unmoving in a pool of red liquid.

Kou felt panic rise in his chest and tears in his eyes. "MITSUBA!" He runs towards the boy, getting on his hands and knees to see what happened. "Please no!" Kou cried out, blood seeping into his pants.

Kou didn't know what to do. He just cried into his lover's chest for hours and hours. The worst part was that he didn't even know how it had happened, Mitsuba left for one second! It's all like some sort of nightmare.

Mitsuba's Pov:
I wake up to the sound of crying and turn my head to see Kou with faint tears rolling down his cheeks. "Kou?" I say worried.

"M-Mitsu.." he sobs quietly. "I'm right here.." Mitsuba was so confused on why he was crying until I noticed Kou was still asleep. "KOU!!" I shake him awake which finally works.

"Mitsuba!" He shoots up saying my name...what kind of dream was he having!? Pervert..

Kou turns my way and and a smile spreads across his face through his tears. Suddenly, he wraps me in a hug. Obviously, I hug back. "What are you doing? Are you okay?" I ask.

"Nightmare.." he says quietly. Oh. "What was it that made you react like this?" He sits in silence for a moment until he's calmed down.

"So you know that movie we watched..?" he hangs his head, his voice almost breaking. "I had a dream where we were just exploring a forest, and the next thing I knew you were-" I wrapped him in a hug, making him topple over on the bed.

"I'm so sorry I made you watch that, Kou." I hugged him tighter.

"It's okay, Mitsu. I'm just glad it was only a dream." Kou pecks Mitsuba on the lips and smiles. "I love you." He says.

"I love you too." We both fall back asleep
