Hey! Sorry abt last chapter, I forgot the flower part but basically they get a flower on each other's heads! So this is gonna be very angsty like Danganronpa v1 chapter 4 kinda angsty so uh yeah. And I am proud to say only ONE angst has made me cry and it was only a little 😎

It was the first day of school for the two boys, Mitsuba and Kou. "Okay. There's a new student so uh introduce your self." The teacher told Mitsuba.

"Hello! I'm Mitsuba Souske, and I uh hope we can be friends!" (That was the most basic introduction ever-) Mitsuba went ahead and sat behind Kou.

Towards the middle of class, Mitsuba tapped other boy on the shoulder. Kou turned his head to face him. "Hi, do you want to be friends?" Mitsuba put out his hand for Kou to shake. "Sure!" He shook back.

..During Lunch..
Kou was with his usual friend group when Mitsuba walked over to the table. "Hi, uh could I sit here?" he asked. Kou nods and Mitsuba sits down and silently ate as the others just, talked. They left him out on every conversation to be honest.

At the end of lunch Mitsuba suggested to Kou they should exchange numbers. Kou agreed and went to class.

..after school..
Mitsuba's pov:
I got home and said hello to my mom and went upstairs to text my hopefully new friend. I hope he doesn't just forget about me like everyone else. I changed the contact to "Kou⚡️" and texted him.

Hello!

Kou⚡️: Oh hi, is this Mitsuba?

Yeah

Kou ⚡️: Oh Alr! So why did you want to exchange numbers?

You agreed to be friends so..

Kou⚡️: Oh right heh sorry.

Did this dumbass already forget-

It's okay, anyway did you want to get to know eachother a bit better?

Kou⚡️: Sure!

3rd person pov:
They were talking for like an hour or two until Mitsuba's mom called him down for dinner.

"So, you were up there for a while?" Mitsuba's mom asked. "Oh yeah, I got a new- friend today. We have actually a lot in common." He responds

"Aww, my baby is so big!" Mitsuba's mom ruffled his hair. "Mom." Mitsuba groaned as he ate.

The next day at school Mitsuba waited at the front gate for Kou, but he never showed. "He was probably so disgusted by me yesterday that he doesn't want to even see me." He thought.

In the middle of second period, Kou bursts through the door and quickly sat down. "Kou Minamoto." the teacher said. "Why are you late?"

"I overslept Sir, I'm sorry!" Kou yelled. The teacher rolled his eyes and continued the lesson.

At lunch, Kou properly introduced Mitsuba to his friends. "Hey, guys. Ya' know how Mitsuba sat with us yesterday? Well he's actually pretty cool, so yeah!" Kou smiled. His friends smiled and Satou pulled out a chair for Mitsuba. "Oh thank you!" He then sat down.

This time, the four of them had a real conversation, not just Kou, Satou and Yokoo. Mitsuba was included too.

A few months went by of them being friends, but eventually Yokoo and Satou got bored of Mitsuba. (THEY WOULDN'T ACTUALLY DO THAT, THEY'RE NICE) Kou didn't and they texted all day when they got home and they've pulled multiple all nighters talking to each other. Yokoo and Satou realized Kou wasn't getting tired of him any time soon and stopped hanging out with Kou.

"I'm sorry, is this about me?" Mitsuba shrank down. "Nah, probably not." Kou replied. He pulled out his phone right away, hiding it not to seem rude. (At lunch btw)

You guys okay?

Satou 🕺💃: We're bored of Mitsuba

Def gay💅: Yeah sorry, but could you come over at our new table?

What? No!

Satou 🕺💃: I do want to hang out with you, but you're always around Mitsuba.

And?

Satou 🕺💃: And we don't want to hang out with him

Kou turns of his phone, anger rising in him. "You know what." He mumbled. He turned on his phone.

If you don't like Mitsuba,
you clearly don't like me!

So don't talk to me again!
He has no other friends and you're
just gonna leave him like that!?

Satou 🕺💃: Alr
Satou blocked Kou

Def gay 💅: A little harsh but ok
Yokoo blcoked Kou

Kou just lost his best friends since the first year of middle school over a boy. Over Mitsuba. "It's Mitsuba's fault. Just because I tried to be nice, I lost my friends." Kou thought. "This kid is bad luck or something because I did nothing wrong."

Kou didn't actually mean it of course. It was his frustration and confusion mixing together, making a horrible emotion. He was mad, but not wanting to take the blame, blamed it on Mitsuba. Which is what his "friends" wanted.

"This is your fault." Kou mumbled, tears forming in his eyes. "Hm?" Mitsuba tilted his head in confusion. "I said it's your fault!" Kou raised his voice. Suddenly Kou grabbed a sandwich, and chucked it at Mitsuba.
