Every pair shares some sort of sense, taste, hearing, and smell mainly. Once you find your soulmate a flower will pop up on your favorite thing, it's be the same flower as your partner.

It was Kou's birthday today and he was 15, and would be getting his sense. Nothing yet...

He headed to school anyways and met up with his friend's, Nene, Amane, and Mitsuba. "What's your sense Kou?" Nene asks excited. "My soulmate didn't get their sense yet so neither did I."

"Maybe you don't have one and will be lonely for ever." Mitsuba pouts at him, earning a soft wack on the head. "We should head to class, the bell will ring soon. Amane stated.

The day goes on and still nothing, in fact even months without his soulmates sense. Amane and Nene both share hearing (hearing each other's thoughts) but Mitsuba and Kou didn't get anything so far.

Finally it was Mitsuba's birthday and he immediately tasted, cereal. "Who is eating...raisin bran? Ew." He thought. He ate breakfast, which tasted like waffles with raisins ಠ_ಠ. He went to school and his friend group wished him happy birthday.

"What's you sense!" Nene screams. "It has to be Kou, right?" He mumbles. "Taste."

She freaks out. "That'sKou'ssenseandyoubothgotitonthesamedayyouguysareperfect!" "Nene slow down!" Amane grabs her shoulder. Nene was broken. She kept rambling on and no one could understand her. "She's saying you guys are soulmates. " Amane explained.

"NO!" Mitsuba shouted. "ouch." Kou mumbled. Mitsuba shot Kou a glare. "I-It's just a coincidence! Lots of people have the same birthdays as me!"

"Eat something then." Kou said. "I-I...well I can't right now, i-It's uhm- class is about to start. BYE!" He got got flustered and ran off, to "class", even though he ran to the bathroom.

"I hate thinking the fact that traffic safety earing is my soulmate....maybe." Mitsuba felt happy, but also in denial. "Let's test it." Mitsuba pulled out a piece of mint gum Kou had gave him a while ago. Even though he knows he doesn't like mint. Which is perfect because if it ends up correct, he can use that as an excuse. He popped it in his mouth, chewed it for a couple seconds and then spit it out.

"BLEH!"
"God I hope that worked...

----Time skip to lunch time.
-Also Mitsuba's pov
"Soo, any other tastes today?" I asked. "Why, do you want it to be me?" Kou teased. "NO! YOU STINK!!"

"Well, yes. They had I think it was, mint gum?" My heart felt like it was gonna pop out of my chest and I'd become a ghost. Imagine dying of embarrassment. "W-well, you know I don't like mint!" Kou nodded and shrugged and took a bite of his food. Yummy, did he make this? "Are you gonna eat?" How do I tell him I'm not eating, so he won't taste it. "I'm not hungry right now." I say, my face heating up. Kou shrugged it off and continued eating.

"So, wanna hang out after school?" he asks. He's not trying anything...right? "And do what?"

"Get Boba?" yes. "Yeah sure what time!?" My eyes sparkled at the word ᐠ( ᐛ )ᐟ.

Kou chuckled. "Like- just walk there when school gets out!" I nodded. Not considering the fact it involves taste.

"Rude, but yes I have."
