Valentines day

Kou's pov:
Today is Febuary 14th, aka Valentines day. In Nene's words it's "a day of love!"

What better day than to ask out my crush. I walk into the school building and immediately try to find them. "Hey, Mitsuba!" I shouted.

I see a head perk up from the crowd of people. He pushed their way towards me. "Hey traffic earing." Mitsuba said oddly gloomy.

"Is something wrong?" I ask.
"No, I'm just tired." They said although I heard him mumble something, not sure what he said though.

"So~ I-uh..about valentines day!" I start. Mitsuba glared at me.

"I-uh wanted to know if y-you- uhh.." I can't! What if he doesn't like me back! "If you know who (random girl) is!?"

Mitsuba's pov:
Is he really going to ask me out on valentines day!? That'd be the best. "If you know who (random girl) is."
Oh...never mind. "Yeah I have her in 6th period.." I said.

"Y-yeah so can you uhm-" Kou stuttered a flustered mess.
"Tell her you like her?" I ask. Kou nodded rapidly. I nodded and the bell rang.

I couldn't focus in math, I was to focused on what Kou had said. Why would he want to be with someone like me? I shook my head violently.
Focus Mitsuba, you're gonna this test and then Kou or Daikon-Senpai is gonna haft to help you with dumb corrections!
I just can't face Kou right now..

Kou's Pov:
It was 6th period when me and Mitsuba had class together. At lunch he seemed very down and kept ignoring me. They're excuse was always "being tired''.

I saw them walk in and put his stuff on they're desk and- not sit down? Shoot! I remeber now!

I told Mitsuba to tell (random girl)! He walked over to her desk. I don't really like her, plus I've seen her with her partner! I can't just embarass myself..or lie to Mitsuba.

I quickly get up and pull Mitsuba to the side. "Can I tell you something really quick?" I said, my face probably going bright red.

"I-I don't like her..'' Mitsuba raises an eyebrow in confusion.
"I was just to scared to tell you that...I-''
What if they don't like you back? That'd be awkward. Maybe you'll stop being friends so it doesn't really matter. He tells the whole school that you're some lame ass pervert and you wanna date him for something perverted? You can't do it Kou. You're not good enough for them and I think he ignores you for a reason.
"I-I don't like anyone for Valentine's Day! I just thought you'd think I was weird, I'm sorry for lying!" Another lie.

Mitsuba looked like his heart just shattered. "Oh yeah it's fine. Yamabuki doesn't like anyone so it's completely fine!" They're too nice.

"Do you have a crush Mitsuba~?" They get flushed.
"W-well uh y-yes.." Good thing I didn't tell him.
"Well who is it?" Mitsuba turned even more red at my question.
"You don't need to know!" They stammered out.

3rd person
The rest of the day went on until 8th period. Mitsuba and Kou sat across the room from each other and Kou and Yokoo sat together.

"So Mitsuba apparently has a crush." Kou said sadly. Yokoo had known about both the boy's crushes and assured Kou it was alright.

"How do you know he'll like me back..?" Kou asked.
"Well uh..you're gonna ask them out right?" Kou nodded. "Well then because they said he liked you.." Kou flushed red.

"D-don't tell him I told you!" Kou nodded.

Kou went straight to my locker, packed up his stuff quickly and ran outside to the buses. "Mitsuba!" He shouted after the pink haired boy.

They turned around, their eyes puffy like he's been crying. "I-I'm sorry for lying!" Mitsuba stared in confusion.
"What do you mean?" They asked.
"I lied about not having a crush.." Mitsuba already knew his chances with Kou were 0.
"S-so before the day ends I wanted to tell you.." Mitsuba perked up. Maybe it wasn't zero?

"Do you wanna uhm you know..? Uhh.." Mitsuba stopped him. "Are you- asking me out?" They asked and which in response Kou nodded rapidly.

"Pervert..but uh how do movies at 7 sound?" Kou again nodded vigorously, to flustered to even talk got on his bus.

God I hate this writing style. WHY DOES MY GRAMMAR TEACHER WANT ME TO WRITE LIKE THIS 😭😭
Anyways I'm thinking about doing the movies in the next chapter so be prepared for that!
