A Rivalry between former Enemies

 The crowd watched as a body was sent hurling into the brick wall, moving a such great speeds he seemed like a blur.

As quickly as the God tier recovered, he defended against an incoming onslaught of powerful beams.

It was futile however, as soon enough, the damage sustained lead to his Barrier being completely shattered by a punch coated in black energy.

The King, Arlo, fell to his knees, clutching his chest in pain.

John stood above him, holding his hand out in front of his opponent's face charging up an energy blast, clearly signalling for him to give up.

Not too long ago, one would just see this as a King putting his predecessor in his place.

"AND THE WINNER IS JOHN!" Remi shouted, the crowd behind her cheering the raven haired student on.

But that's just the past, isn't it? Things can change.

The energy in John's hands fades into nothingness, his scowl replaced with a smirk, offering a hand to his adversary. 

The Blonde grabbed it and stood up with the aid of John.

"That wasn't too bad, Arlo. Had you been at this level when I went on a rampage, things may have gone differently."

Before Arlo could even get a word out, an irritated Seraphina stood in front of the two  God Tiers.

"And what is this all about, John?"Seraphina was clearly upset with the situation and John couldn't seem to think of a proper response.

Luckily, Remi was there to explain what was going on to Seraphina

"Well Seraphina, it all started like this....."

Half an Hour Earlier.....

"Hey guys, do you think Arlo could beat john?"

The question brought on a confused silence, but It was finally broken by Isen"Well, I guess if John has lower level abilities or none at all, Arlo could just simply overwhelm with his Passive. "

"But what if John fought Arlo with only one my ability, say mine?"

Remi replied"Then he'd easily be able to force Arlo into activating his Barrier, automatically giving John the win. Where are you going with this Blyke?"

Blyke simply smirked"That's the catch, John CAN'T copy Arlo's ability, he can only use mine, or he is immediately disqualified."

Remi and Isen thought about this and eventually to a conclusion. " That would actually be pretty cool."

The three friends went over to John and Arlo, telling the God Tiers of the idea and not too long after, a crowd was formed around the two on the field.

"You two ready?" Remi asked, with John and Arlo nodding in response

"In that case, may the fight begin!"

Immediately, John charged up two beams of energy, firing both at the blonde.

In response, Arlo created a his famous barrier.

The students were confused as instead of it being around him, it was in front of Arlo.

That confusion quickly turned to amazement as Arlo used his ability as a platform to jump off of, avoiding the attack and deactivating the Barrier once the beams were about to collide with it.

"The combination of Arlo being able to control it's reflective damage and it's incredible durability does make his barrier useful in being a platform to give Arlo that extra boost."Cecile informed.
