And here we are again. The flames were melting my body. Milton on top of me prevented me from escaping the burning house. And me, I did nothing to stop him. I've lost. Not to him, no. To her. I lost to her. She wanted me to die, to be destroyed. And so she killed me, destroyed me. My true love. Where is she now? And where is that girl? Carol is it? I don't know, and it's probably too late for that anyway. I can already feel my system shutting down.

The taller one started running in my direction. When they came to me, I saw a beautiful woman. It was Charity. She was coming for me. She was coming to save me. She stopped in front of me then continued walking closer to the house. She came back and stood right before me. I could now see the tears streaming down her face as she lifted a huge piece of wood above her head. Then she lowered it with all her strength on my head. Then nothing. The emptiness. The great void. Then voices. Voices everywhere coming from all sides and echoing inside my head. It wasn't the great void, my eyes were closed. And when I opened them again it was to see the spider's nest. The web.
