"True Love" Sequel

Prologue

When has everything started to go wrong? Me and Charity were so happy together. It was just the two of us. But now I could see the flames melting the metal plates and wires of my body. Milton on top of me, preventing any escape from the burning house. Oh right, I forgot. It wasn't only the two of us anymore. Not since she came to life... Carol.

With Milton currently in prison, me and Charity would be able to live together without fear of our bliss being interrupted. Two years have passed since he was sent down and I have create an artificial human body in which I would be able to live. Well, as much as we can call life for a computer. Charity helped me with assembling the pieces together. It was a lot of work but I was determined to be more like her, to be able to take her in my arms and feel her body close to mine like any other person. Not that any other person would have her close to them. No, it was a privilege reserved to me only.

Soon after, we decided to have a child, but since I couldn't impregnate her, we choose to do it in vitro. I didn't know whose semen it was and I didn't care, as long as I could have this baby with Charity. Eventually, she came to life and I felt something in me enlightened, like a fire burning, coursing through my system. It felt good. I felt good. But there was something else as well, a new feeling that I could not quite describe. When I watched her small and frail body, a desire to see it grow strong and beautiful stirred in me. I wanted her to become the best version of herself. I'm just a computer, I have limits just as humans do. They can do things I can't, and I can do things they can't. But now, with Charity's humanity and my technology, she would be able to overcome those limits on both sides. Humans and computers. She would be better than anything and anyone.
