Charity was walking down the street, hand in hand with a little girl not much older than four years. Her daughter Carol was starting her first day at school and so she was taking her to the place. The mother felt a tug at her hand. She turned around to see that the girl had suddenly stopped and was now staring at something on the other side of the road. She followed the child's gaze to a flower bed full of red tulips.
"Mommy, look! A ladybug!" Carol exclaimed to her mom.
"Where?" Charity asked while searching for the ladybug in vain.
"On the flower right there!" Among all the red tulips stood out a small single yellow tulip where an even smaller red and black little insect was walking on one of its petals. An insect Charity obviously couldn't see due to its tiny body being so far away. But her daughter could see it easily. After all, she was my daughter too.
