Chapter 5

I prepare my things for my few days of stay in my brother's unit.

I noticed that the day is coming when Tum is going to be vulnerable.

My phone rings and Of course, I answered it.

"Hello,"

"Can you make it for shooting after your off-site training?" Mr Mike asked.

I look at my calendar on my study table.

"Sir Mike, you know already that I won't accept any gigs in those days like within that two weeks."

"But this is a huge project." Mr Mike still arguing with me

Sigh... But Tum needs me more in those days.

I massage my forehead and touch my nape.

"But someone needs me the most. I can't put on a blind eye on it Sir."

"Fine Fine. But tell me once you guys are official." Mr Mike teases me

"That's quite the impossible thing that will never happen."

"Don't jinx it fool. Just remember to tell me if you're up to something." Mr Mike said with joy

"Thank you, Sir."

"No biggie, You already knew that I see you and Kade as my sons" Mr Mike said and the line ended.

I grab my bag and close the door behind me

Everything is set and I'm still waiting for the pastries that Senior Soleil promised to be delivered here in the lounge where I'm staying and as usual, I'm wearing a face mask since Kade and I are quite look-alike since we're triplets.

I look onto my watch and the pastries haven't arrived yet.

I suddenly received a text message that our off-site training will be a move to next week.

Which is shit. A huge wrong timing like seriously, why does it have to be moved.

I texted back to Senior asking why it has to be moved. And I got to know that Senior Soleil can't make it on time since an emergency happened in the photoshoot for the pageant.

I tried to call Senior Soleil but he didn't answer any of my calls.

I sighed thinking of what Tum's state will be if I'm not there.

I called Rhys. And Thank God he answered my call but I can say from the background that he has animals around him.

"Hello" Rhys utter when he answers my call.

"Rhys, Can you do me a favour?" I asked.

"What is it?" He asked.

"It's about Tum," that I can hear Rhys sigh from the other side of the line "look, I know you already warned me about it but please can stay with Tum's side for a day or two." I pleaded

Ever since Tum changed Rhys' guard has been so up against Tum. I know he's only worried about me.

Rhys become quiet for a minute. It seems he check on his calendar.

"I can, I guess? when will it be?" Rhys asked

"It will be next week on Thursday. I'll try to be early and return on Sunday." I told him

"Wait, Isn't that our exam week?" Rhys reacted

"Yeah, but I'll be excused because I would still be in the off-site training," I told him.

"Dang, I think you won't be. Just skip two days of training since you're already in there for three days." Rhys complained about a warning about the exam.
