Warren's POV

I panicked when I saw blood from Kane's head and it's even bleeding. I immediately call an ambulance to rush Kane to the hospital, the hospital that is under Doxon's wings. It immediately arrives.

I'm in front of the operating room. I can't help but to walking back and forth.

No.no. no I can't lose Kane too. I already lost Soleil.

I can't help but just burst in tears. Even a simple request from his death bed. I still didn't deliver it correctly. To look after Kane, I should have noticed that blood. I still let him drink alcohol.

I have contacted Kade since Kean is still busy working on the aftermath of the war in Russia with their Dad.

The doctor goes out of the Operating room.

"Doc, how is he?"

The doctor just shakes his head as he sighs. "The operation is successful and the patient is stable yet we still don't know what his condition is now. His head injury is really no joke. There will be a possibility that there will be a problem due to that injury. I highly suggest for the patient to be confined in the hospital for further observation ." With what the doctor said I immediately hug him and keep saying thank you.

I'm so grateful that I still have Kane. Starting now, I'll be looking after Kane more now.

They transfer Kane to the recovery room. We hide the fact about where Kane is. We made it look like Kane is currently doing an online class due to business trips. We waited for weeks for Kane to wake up.

Kade finds time to visit Kane without being spotted by paparazzis. Since being in headline on going to a hospital won't help Kane at all.

I always go here in the hospital after school. I play music in his room while no one is there. If I'm there, I read him some books. The doctor said that even though a human is in this state. They can able to hear their surroundings. And I always begs Kane to wake up.

And Rhys, he have no idea what happened to Kane. Since everyone at school still thinks that Kane and I are not friends but more like frenemies that love to spit fire at each other.

I still remember that time. The time that Soleil died. And I always remember that.

I don't know why Soleil broke up with me so suddenly that day. We were just okay like yesterday.

Kaitlin contacted, she said , she wanna say something. She's fully aware that I'm all against with this set up.

I arrive at the cafe near the park. I already see Kaitlin seating inside. I approach her.

"What is it now?"

"Have a seat first. Don't worry, I'll be leaving the country tonight. After that I won't bother you."she said with a smile.

I just sigh and sit on the chair in front of her.

"War, can you do me a favor?" She asks

"Seriously, Kait. Isn't this engagement already enough to bother me?" I raise my voice on her due to anger and frustration

"I know. I know. But my favor is, please take care of the boys for me. Nite and Crimson. Please. Maybe as your friend or an older sister." She sounds desperate. But I don't know why she's this desperate to ask me this she have brothers .

"Kait, you have your brothers to do that and yourself too."

"Please adopt them for me." She pleads.
